The portals close few weeks later - and as they do, a general sense of closure seems to have fallen upon the Earth Sphere. It is as if the crazy last years are really, finally over.

The life in post-Second Impact reality does not become easier. Daily struggles to rebuild are a norm. Bandits, space pirate attacks and even larger incidents are not out of question. And yet... the everyday existence somehow seems safer. Humanity can focus on reaching back towards its former glory, rather than fighting tooth and nail to prevent death by alien invaders or thwarting some maniac's plan to take over or brainwash the whole world. Also, humans are not alone. Earth Sphere made some friends, and they are there to help and assist.

The future looks bright.

Smith Weston decided to stay behind with the remains of White Chalice. A memorial park was established around them, and he found happiness as its keeper/self-appointed captain.

Dan became something of an AI genius loci of the park. He shared stories of White Chalice, its travels and sacrifices to anyone who was willing to listen.

Ayame Jin - or rather, Anna Alkaev, decided to keep a low profile. She became a wanderer, traveling around the world, visiting places that White Chalice had an impact on. She always observed much, but spoke little.

Other crew members of White Chalice and survivors of Kairos Aspida went their own seperate ways, to rebuild their lives in the new reality with various degrees of success. But most did not forget the bonds forged during those special days.

What happened to Maxene Trendie is a mystery. Even though she willingly stayed with Demonbane in the distant past, there were rumors of a mysterious woman similar to her resurfacing here and there. None of them were ever confirmed.

Yet one question remains - what fate awaits you, the pilots and combatant crew members of White Chalice? What have you done with your lives once the adventure is over?

[In this post, feel free to describe what happened to your characters in the months or even years following the game's conclusion. Please don't powergame or step on other canons' toes - keeping that in mind, share your characters' fate with others.

Players and characters who are no longer in the game are welcome to post anyway.

This is the last post of the game. Thank you, everyone!

THE END]

Victory!

"We've won! Take that, ye oversized lobsterman! Now I'll show you how a captain parties!"

The Primeval Force has been defeated, and now is the time to celebrate. The White Chalice is gone except for a smoking wreck - remains of the bridge, but at least Captain Smith and Dan are alive! Enjoy yourselves, who knows what tomorrow will bring, but today you are champions of the whole Earth Sphere... no. The universe.

Also Dan is there, his holographic projection looking around in an equal mix of elation and wild confusion. Was he even programmed to experience such extreme emotions?

[2]

But not everyone likes lively revelry. For some, quiet contemplation is more appropriate. Especially since the victory was not without sacrifice - were it not for Bismuth paying the price of his life, Primeval Force would still be free to wreck havoc and destruction. And he's far from the only one who lost his life during the final battle.

One of those who prefer to be alone right now is Ayame... or Anna Alkaev, if you prefer.

"So it's finally over."

She looks at the wall of rememberance, saved from White Chalice.

"Inessa..."

[3]

One more thing to consider. After Primeval Force was destroyed, portals opened around Earth Sphere. Those portals lead to universes some of you came from - now you can come back. There is just one thing though... they are one-way only. Once you go, you cannot return to this version of the Earth Sphere. It is a bittersweet decision of returning home or staying with your allies whom you helped save the world.

You have at least a week or two before the portals close, and then they will stay closed - possibly forever. What kind of decision do you make?

Clan Jade Falcon is already making preparations to return for example.

[1, possibly battle log]

Various places all around the world came under attack by Primeval Force clones. These units are copies of all kinds of machines used by humanity, all made from Primeval Force energy - they can be destroyed, but they take a lot of punishment and have more destructive power than the things they copied!

Once the initial attacks are over - some of them repelled, for others the units retreated on their own as if toying with humans, uneasy silence falls upon Earth Sphere. How much more time will pass until another such attack? How long can humanity survive such an ordeal?

How do you react to this? All the while, the titanic avatar of Primeval Force itself watches from space, surrounded by legions of lesser mooks that annihilate anyone that tries to come close.

[2, frontdated a day or two]
"It was a pleasure having you on board."

"Now git off! Off me ship, I tell you! I'm giving you 24 hours to get your stuff away from White Chalice!"

"Umm. What the captain is trying to say is that he and the XO came up with a plan. It's unlikely that Primeval Force can be defeated in conventional combat, but it can be contained."

"White Chalice itself will serve as containment. Ayame already left to retrieve the Primeval Force generator which we will use as a trap. In the meantime, we are removing non-essential parts of the ship such as the arboretum or living quarters, and reinforcing the rest."

"So... this is good-bye. But I hope we can count on your assistance one last time, to break through Primeval Force's copies and reach the main avatar. Then we will either contain it in White Chalice for good, or if that's not enough, destroy it while it's contained within."

"Hey! Who told you to get rid of the minigolf course? I'm the captain, I'm not moving from the bridge!"

[3]

You managed to pick up survivors from Kairos Aspida. There aren't many... but even a few is better than nothing. Surprisingly for absolutely no one, they are devastated and not really in a talkative mood. But if you insist you can have a short conversation with them.

"Why did it have to... Wate, Henrika? Fuck!"

"..."
"..."

Also look who is among the survivors - isn't it Shinra himself! Though it turns out Shinra is not his name, just a nick he insisted everyone used. Evan Cooper, his eyes no longer shining blue, for the first time in many years is no longer a puppet of Primeval Force. Now he is truly free. And he is fully aware of everything he has done while Primeval Force's slave.

So when you see him, he is like this.

Suddenly, White Chalice starts to change course. What's going on? Maybe Dan can explain as he suddenly explains?

[It's time.  Thanks to Bian feeding you the location of the prison and Phillip and Shotarou relaying information back and forth currently the White Chalice fleet is currently stationed right outside of the sensor range of the prison facility.  The base is huge, with entire squadrons patrolling the surrounding area, some of it Federation, some of it Adventus.]

Captain, would you like to say anything to everyone before we begin?

Indeed I would!

EVERYONE!  IN CASE YOU GET CAUGHT, BE SURE TO HAVE YOUR GET-OUT-OF-JAIL FREE CARD ON HAND!

[Aaaand cue headsigh before Ayame opens up a fleet-wide broadcast.]

Alright then people.  Believe it or not, we're the diversion here for the DC's own offensive into Adventus territory.  And that's fine by me.  Everyone, we're going to be betting it all on this and we'll either be leaving this place together or we'll be joining our comrades already imprisoned.  We have intel and we have a link to our comrades on the inside.

And most importantly I think I speak for everyone when I say I want to take back everything and everyone who was taken from us.

We've all discussed plans of attack and how we're going to do this, but that's in the past now.  Now's the time to make good on everything we said.

[Now cue Dan, in full military regalia!]

RIGHT!  All pilots and crewmembers, prepare for battle!  On-foot teams, standby for insertion via Getter!  Shotarou, send everyone inside a line so they can time their breakout with this!

ALL FORCES... CHAAAAAAARGE!

(Here it is!  We've plotted to a degree and the time for action is now!  There'll be several "fronts" for this, each with its own thread and probably we'll have subthreads too.  Keep in mind to not go around godmoding things and let everyone take part in the awesomeness... and if you want to discuss and carry out some event with the mods specifically or just have a question to ask, drop one of the mods a line.)

[[Hey look everyone, it's your best friend Cap'n Weston!]]

I just wanna tell you all, good work out there.  For once, it was "Right place, Right time" cuz I don't want no alien plants clutterin up our blue skies.  Unfortunately, I'm under the assumption that that ain't the end of it.

Them pretty space girls have been wantin to talk to ya'll, so I'm gonna patch 'em through.

Oh? Finally!  Your captain had us on hold for half an hour!  I hope all of your men aren't like that.  But besides that, we had an encounter with another squad of Harvesters.  It was shortly after we realized that their mothership had left your airspace.

When we got to tracking it after it left us, it appeared twice more, once in space and once on the other side of your planet.

We didn't handle the other groups, but someone else did.

But that's hardly good news.  The ship dropping off the Reapers has left this solar system.  While we were tracking it, we picked up a much larger fleet on the way.  Whatever that ship is, it must only be a drop ship.

We've already run the numbers and they should be here in two days.  From what we can gather, if we can cut off whatever's controlling the drones, we can stop them all at once.

I can't promise anything, but we'll do our part from here.  B.C. out.

Now you might not be doing your fishing the MANLY way! And you haven't caught any Whales... and if any of you do you will walk the plank. THAT'S MY WHALE!

So I got this tune, and it's awesome! So before you go thinking we're a bunch of tyrants for keeping your food from you... REMEMBER WHAT ACTUAL TYRANTS ARE LIKE! STUPID WHALE... [Smith continues to rant about certain tyrannical white whales.]

Event start!
With the wonderful music the Captain is providing, we'll be starting a little fun:
-The first day, everyone will hear it at least one time. It's a bit annoying, but catchy after a while.
-The second day, the annoyance of the song is nil to none, and just about everyone can enjoy it, even the most irritable of people.
-The third day, everyone pretty much likes the song, but, people are becoming more irritating.
-The fourth day and onward people are not only more annoying, but, coupled with the food and supply shortage, it's harder and harder to even trust them. Fights are all the more likely to break out over increasingly insignificant things.

There are mind-control and persuasion elements involved in this event. While everyone will be affected to a degree, constructs and gods will be on the lesser end of the spectrum. How FAR you go is up to you and whomever you decide to punch faces with. Don't forget to consult your other players before slugging it out without permission.

So... uh... you see... that is...

[Dan's image on the screen is somehow usurped by the ridiculous image of Smith Weston standing on the roof of the bridge swinging around a golf club!]

You BLASTED VARMANTS! Costing me my milk and cookies! I should put a plank by the airlocks I say! That'll teach ya to steal my tea!

[Dan's image appears in a small box in the corner of the window.]

Yes, you see as Captain Weston is say...

[Smith Weston cuts him off again.]

The next time you all think you can galavant around my ship painting walls and building whatever you want I'll...

[Then the entire screen goes dead inexplicably. A strange looking woman some of you may have seen before appears in the middle of the apparently otherwise off screen.]

Hello brothers and sisters of the White Chalice. Confirming with Ayame, we decided a more... cohesive explanation of our situation was needed. Do to a cavalier attitude some have had, our food supplies are gettin' low. You guys gettin' beat up so much has also created a shortage of parts.

Until such time that we can restock, we will all have to go without. We have an alotta water, but food will be rationed. The pantry has been made off limits except under the strict supervision of Dan, Ayame Jin, Misato Katsuragi, Hayato Jin, Sumeragi Noriega, Mio Sakamoto, Forte Stollen or myself. Food will also be inventoried daily, and according to Ayame: "If our stores end up below the expected amount for the day, everyone will go hungry the following day to make up for it. And I do mean EVERYBODY." So let's please not sneak any snacks, as I for one am gettin' hungry already just thinking about it.

Repairs are still being done, however all non essential repairs, upgrades and remodels have been suspended until farther notice.

For those you you who are unaware, I am Maxene Trendy. I am a ships Doctor, so if anything ailsya, by all means come find me.

[Following this, the screen reactivates and Dan and Smith Weston appear. Though Smith is basically just ranting and raving and Dan is ignoring the viewers and being quite unsuccessful at calming him down. After a minute or so of it the image on the screen shuts off again. This time returning to whatever the screen was previously doing before the announcement.]

EVENT RULES: This is exactly as Maxene Trendie says, the White Chalice is running critically low on food and has a shortage of parts as well. Everyone is getting a fairly meager portion of food each day (though people can more or less still have all the water they want) and if the food inventory is ever below the expected amount, everyone gets nothing the next day (the injured being the single exception to this). It was unstated, but anyone found stealing will meet... unfortunate consequences. In addition to this, all mecha upgrades, unnecessary repairs (such as paint jobs or other purely aesthetic additions) have ceased until farther notice. Yes, this means that any of you who put in upgrade requests that have not yet been introduced will not have them completed until this event is over.

[ Char had spent the last week or so combing over the specs of his completed MSN-02 Perfect Zeon Char Custom, and had finally come up with a way to possibly upgrade the Zeong to allow for the use of melee weapons without compromising its own firepower. Due to the fact that the Zeong has megaparticle guns in each of its fingers, a traditional beam saber would not be practical. Char had examined the schematics, and after some preliminary experiments using virtual reality and mathematical equations, Char had reached a solution.

At first, Char had thought of wrist-mounted beam sabers, but one mistake, and the beam saber would damage the fingers. Char then thought about removing the middle fingers of both hands, and replacing them with beam sabers; however, this would sacrifice firepower. Char then, however, had another idea: Placing the beam sabers in the palms of the Zeong.

Having a retractable beam saber in the center of the palm, while possible sacrificing mobility of the funnel functionality of the detachable hands, would allow for very unique possibilities while fighting in close quarters, thanks to the finger guns.

The sabers would be apart of the hand, but would pop out of the palms when in use, and retract when not in use. While not as maneuverable thanks to the physics of the wrists, they would serve their purpose. Char was hoping the Captain would grant his requisition form.

Having filled out the paperwork, Char left the hanger. Others may be able to catch up to him in the hallways, though he clearly has something important to deliver. ]

I know everyone’s been having fun out here in the, um, meteorite-littered desert, but we have a course heading now, since we had a bunch of guys ask us to help them out in east Asia. That Cross guy offerered us a lot of supplies, and he seems like a Hero of Justice, too! As for NERV, well...they’re just scary.

A-anyway, we’re going to be heading up to Alaska and bear straight across--

You mean Bering Strait, you infernal landlubbing contraption!

Right, cross the Bering Strait to get to Asia! It’s a lot safer than going all the way across the Pacific right now. I’m just letting everyone know this so you can enjoy the summer weather in California while you can! Siberia’s cold, even this time of year!

[Yeah... you heard that right... CAPTAIN Weston. Dan POINTEDLY ignores any and all attempts to get his attention regarding this. The woman is doing everything she can to not burst out laughing.]

: So I hope you all have a...

: Unless you play golf! You can always bring your clubs to the bridge for a game!

[The woman shakes her head and moves to the man.]

: Come now Smith. Let's go get your clubs.

[She then leads him away. Though he still makes one more call as she leads him away.]

: And don't forget! I rent out clubs by the hour!

[Dan waits until they're gone to continue.]

: As I was saying, I hope you all take advantage of the resources available and enjoy your time aboard.

[He then disappears.]

The comm opens for general posting to those who are aboard the White Chalice on Monday, June 20th. That said, we don't know who is with the White Chalice fleet from the beginning of the game. This post's purpose is to rectify this fact.

So without further ado: which of your characters are starting aboard the White Chalice, and how did they get there? If you want to combine intro stories, go ahead. This is your chance to create a back story for the start of the game in the form of how we all got together. Have fun!

Stuff you would know about the NPC crew:

Ayame Jin: The ship's doctor and XO is a more recent addition than the captain, but she has nonetheless been on the ship for quite some time. While she is technically the commanding officer, she considers herself a doctor first and an XO second and for the most part stays out of the crew's affairs unless she needs to intervene. Those who have been around will tell you to make sure this doesn't happen.

Dan: Being the ship's internal AI, it's difficult to guess when exactly he came aboard, though this is probably irrelevant. What matters is that he is eagerly searching for both a crew and affiliated compatriots and accepts almost everyone with open arms; for better or for worse.

Smith Weston: The captain of the ship who alternates between being incredibly impassive and entirely crazy. About the only thing you probably know about him aside of that he is the captain of the ship is that he is senile. How he became the captain is anyone's guess. Dan insists the reason is top secret classified information and won't say anything more.
