A very Kairos Aspida Christmas - prelude
Suddenly, White Chalice starts to change course. What's going on? Maybe Dan can explain as he suddenly explains?
"Everyone, we just received an urgent message. And this time it's from Kairos Aspida!"
"Crew of White Chalice."
Suddenly, Petar Vukoja's face appears on the screen.
"We have taken a closer look on your actions, especially the recent ones. Our methods differ, but me and others of Kairos Aspida agreed that your intentions may be as noble as you claim. Are you familiar with the Great War, later known as World War One, and its Christmas Truce? We are offering one to you just now."
"There is a corporation known as Orsini Industries that specializes in production of prosthetics and life support systems for people who suffered in Earth's many wars. Their CEO is known for philanthropic action, and he is organising a charity Christmas party in the Orb Union. Kairos Aspida will be there, and we extend the invitation to you. It is an opportunity to share and forgive - let us discuss our ideologies. Possibly, the truce can become more than just a temporary one. Let us together protect the Earth from ravages of time."
"A Christmas party? An excellent idea! I've been looking for a chance to show off my minigolf mastery. Nobody comes to the bridge anymore..."
"Umm, yes Captain, thank you. Actually Ayame wanted to say something as well."
"It's unlikely this is an ambush. If Kairos Aspida makes a move against us while all the eyes in the world are watching, they will lose any support they may have. So feel free to have fun at the party, and don't worry about their arms. But worry about their words, so they won't sweet-talk you into something you might regret."
