Unannounced, a Zeon transport ship docks with the White Chalice. The passengers disembark, mainly consisting of a handful of elite guards who escort a small girl accompanied by a blonde woman in a long blue dress. The girl seems a bit tired and disoriented from travel, but her bright eyes flit here and there, taking in her new surroundings, and perhaps searching...

[In some part of the Chalice, the smell of some of the best damn coffee you've ever come across has begun to waft into your surroundings.  And shortly after smelling it, you might just catch sight of Joshua as well, drifting around with a plastic, tear-shaped cup in hand filled with coffee.  And god damn would you just look at the smile on his face.]

Alright... I don't know about any of you, but I'm feeling better than I have in the past few months.  Yeah, I know there's plenty of crap going on, but when isn't it?

[And it's at this point he holds out the cup, offering it to you.]

It's my sister's brew; the one thing she can make well.  And she makes it really well...  though for the life of me I always seem to forget how great it is.  Certainly makes every batch taste as good as the first one she ever made though.

I'd finally got around to it after Luger ate the toxins finishing off the rest, but when I started drinking this, I just thought... well, no need to keep it all to myself.  Especially since, well I did just say plenty of crap's going on.  But that's all the more reason to keep your spirits up!

(The cup in question is specifically designed to let people drink open beverages in zero-g, and yes, it really does exist.)

((Sadly, something I don't have an icon for... No art exists...))

[[Mio has asked that the 501st meet in the hangar, geared up for armed training. However, she's extended the invitation to any others who may be in need of space-oriented combat.

Of course, Mio herself is geared up in her half-of-a normal suit.]]

For some of you, this IS your first time in space. Surely you've taken the time to get used to move around in reduced gravity on the ship. Now, you'll get used to fighting in zero gravity. Make sure you're completely equipped for going outside. I will not have any casualties during training.

Due to the lack of gravity in some parts of the ship, and the effect the lack of gravity was having on the poor disoriented farm boy's sense of balance, Wendell has been mostly sticking to the parts that behaved like normal places should. Currently in the cafeteria, Wendell sat at a table, poking at a bit of food on his plate. Despite his best efforts, the occasional gravity-less moments had a lasting effect, and Wendell wasn't feeling that eating would be a good idea.

Instead, his mind wandered, again, back to before all this started. Back to Mana.

When Wendell was a child, curled up under the covers, but not sleeping. There was a storm outside, and the bright flashes of lights and booming noises, to an imaginative kid, sounded very monsterly. He nearly squeaked when there was an actual knocking at the door to his family's house. Sneaking to the hallway to eavesdrop, Wendell saw Mana's mother in the entrance way, speaking to his father. Mana had visited earlier, and left right before the storm had appeared, but her mother said she hadn't made it home. Wendell's father invited Mana's mother in as he rummaged around for his coat and lantern, to help look. Not that his father knew where to look... but Wendell knew.

Sneaking out the back door, Wendell blinked into the rain, staring down the long, dark walk to the barn. It seemed so much farther at night than during the day. A flash, and a crash right afterwards made the little boy huddle down in fear. Over the howling wind, his own scared sounds were lost. However, Wendell was sure of where she was, and swallowed once before walking out into the storm. Another flashing boom, and Wendell screamed, running for the barn door before the monsters behind him could catch up.

Gasping, he hurled the door open, not stopping to close it, as the monsters were right outside in the dark, and might grab him if he lingered. Shaking and fumbling in the dark, Wendell tried to call out. Unable to hear himself over the howling outside, he tried again, finding a small pit of strength untouched by his fear. W-Wendy? It was Mana, using her nickname for him. Her soft voice calling to him from one of the empty stalls.

Wendell stumbled towards her by memory, eyes adjusting to the dark. As he drew near, he could hear Mana sniffling. She was huddled in the back of one of the stalls, wiping her nose on a sleeve. Wendell smiled, and ran over, wrapping his arms around her. Another crash, and Mana shrieked, clinging to the boy. Wendell, however, didn't react this time to the crying monster outside. I'm so scared! Wendell soothed her, calming his own shaking, telling her it was just a storm. Now that he was here, nothing would hurt her...

Back in present day, Wendell smiled to himself. He was always stronger when she was around.

1.[Those of you not on board Mother Vanguard might notice occasional parts going missing here and there, odd sounds coming from a disused corner of the hangar at night, and occasional bouts of laughter.]

2. [Locked to Cheng, far after the first prompt]

Oh, Cheng? I have a present for you. And while it's not the traditional envelope stuffed with cash, I have a feeling you'll like it just the same...

3. [Last of all the prompts]

[You might notice Sayla wandering around, looking somewhat...questioning.]

...Guys, I think we just lost a Rick Dias.

[Well, anyone remember the kid handcuffed? He's free now and doing something no one may be expecting: repair work. Considering his stunts out there earlier, he's lucky enough to be near one. At any rate, he is working on one of the busted machines, mainly paying attention to the Gundam Mk. III and Dijeh.

Approach?]
