(Seiren is walking down the hall towards the kitchen. Today is special whether she thinks so or not. Today is her birthday. She hasn't been vocal about it but a few people have found out and possibly tried to spread the news. Wish Happy Birthday/Bother?)

(Seiren pops into the kitchen with a slightly nervous look. Seiren looks around before spotting Laura and walking up to her.)

Big Long Post; Sayla Murders Activity For This Month

1. [After much ado, it's that sex ed course Sayla's been promising! She's set aside a meeting room, and has a little presentation set up.]

Alright. I'll try to make this quick...

Now, when a human male and a human female have sexual intercourse, in this method [She clicks a button, flipping to a helpful explanatory slide], it is possible-but not guaranteed-that the female will have a child begin to grow inside their womb. This can be avoided through a number of medical methods known as contraceptives. Medical science being what it is, these can be taken orally. We have quite a few on board, and if you stop by the infirmary at any point, I will be more than happy to hand them off to you along with the appropriate instructions.

Humans being the naturally inventive and curious sort we are, there are a wide variety of other forms of sexual intercourse which cannot result in a pregnancy. [Several slides flip by in rapid succession, depicting such poses. Also a pig.] These are collectively referred to as "Sodomy". While they cannot result in a pregnancy, these acts can transmit certain diseases, almost all of which can be cured or prevented with proper care. Yes, it is embarrassing, but if anything weird is going on with your genitals, do come to the sickbay about it. I shall avoid telling others.

In short, if you are planning to engage in sexual acts, do talk to one of the ship's medical staff beforehand. If you are sick, come to them. And never, ever, have intimate contact with Luger Amwulf.

Doctor Zero's been seeing a lot of people lately with symptoms of space-sickness. Though her background as a surgeon-mechanic normally wouldn't cover this kindof thing, the low number of doctors on board has pressed her into it. For more mild cases, you get ginger tea (in a bulb, of course).

[The Chalice is going to space! Breaking atmo isn't as exciting as fighting Adventus while descending into it, but its still pretty awe-inspiring in its own way. This particular spaceflight finds Nadia on the observation deck, one hand resting lightly on the glass, doing that thoughtfully-look-out-into-space thing that Gundam characters are so fond of.]

...It's been nine months since I came down here.

So much has changed, it feels like it's been ages. A year ago I had never left my home colony. Now I'm a soldier, more or less. I've saved lives. Watched my allies get decimated by Codex Regius. Lived on the run for months. Gotten used to full Earth gravity. Saw snow in person. And now, I'm back on the Chalice, going back to space.

I know we aren't going to Rauha, but it sort of feels like I'm going home.
