Mission "World Clash" battle log

[While the infiltration team gets inside the Leviathan, it's time to fight a large fleet of Space Pirates that escorts it! The battle takes place in an asteroid field, which lets us use the terrain to our advantage - the enemies, as often the case, are quite numerous.

Some of the enemies include:
Normal Space Pirates, mutated by Phazon
Commandos
Berserkers
(All infantry units are flying using jetpacks.)
Jolly Roger drones
ATCs
Cruisers

Don't get too close to the Leviathan itself! Without anti-Phazon shielding, the radiation will quickly kill you!]

 [As the assault group lands from the Leviathan incursion, Samus comes out quickly from her ship. She'd believed the Metroid larva to be dead. 

Once again. 

But scans had showed it to be barely hanging to life. So she jumps out of the Hunter-1 and approaches the carried creature, touching it softly. It screes weakly in recognition as she kneels besides it, expressionless, letting it know she's there. 

She frowns, clearly thinking (and the fact that this is clear should probably be a hint of how concerned Samus is). What about, though, hard to guess. Still, you have a minute to approach her before she springs into action, if you have any ideas]

[Roux hasn't had the time to settle down and try to relax since returning from the incident with Shangri-La. A number of machinery laid before her, most notably, the Neo Core Fighter.]

...why did they just send the Core Fighter? Okay, that's a stupid question, especially after what those Neo-Zeon soldiers were doing. But, still...

[Her eyes, then, trail across to the other machines they had recovered, partial and otherwise. Neo-Zeon had all of these brand new machines and if the possibility was that they were all based off of the Zetas they had.]

Damn...

[Then, those GN-X IIIs... and her mind wandered back to the missing Patrick. Where did that nutcase go? Was he still alive?]

ARGH! What the hell is going on here?! This is just nuts!

[So Loran's currently chilling out in his cockpit. And by chilling I mean having an existential crisis cause he just killed people directly and meaning to for the first time. Yes. Really.]

[And you know what?  After the bullshit at Side-1 between the A-LAWS and Neo Zeon, Josh is looking almost as angry as he is when faced with bullshit regarding his father.]

After all this time and they finally show their hand.  Please, remind me here... I know for a while we had common interests but Char certainly shat the bed more than any of us would've liked.  So...
