[For a while things seemed to be going for the the bird. He patched up all of his problems and got a spiffy new upgrade.

Unfortunately for Ichitaka he soon learned that if he were to continue to use (the mostly improvised) Mode Archeonis it could potentially blow up the Dimension Converter. Not only that but both his brother and Grandpa had left to one of his labs in Fuso to try to fix that problem...taking the wings with them. The only thing they left him was a note informing him about all of this.]

Why do they always ditch me!?

[A bit later Ichitaka is inspecting the Rushbird. He's finally taking the time to properly repair the engine of the machine. To the shock of absolutely no one the energy circuits had quite a bit of wear and tear.]

I wonder if I'm a bit too reckless when I pilot.

[To try to cheer himself up Ichitaka decided to make a quick supply run into a nearby city. Somehow you've been dragged along. In the middle of the trip he stops in front of a gift shop and pauses for a moment.]

Hmmm I still need to get her a gift...

[After that incident with the Festum (and being reminded about it awhile back), Christine's been thinking about how to alter that Astray of hers to handle those sorts of things now. The problem, she realizes, is that her Zero Astray thinks too much like a normal Mobile Suit. It needs more. It needs to think less like a Mobile Suit and more like her old suit.

Which is why she's poking at the Hizack that was left behind back when Kou was part of the crew. The Hizack was a good head above the Zero Astray and didn't run on battery power... and that was about it. There was nothing special about it.

Which is why she's asking the engineers to take a few moments of their time to help with lining the suits up to size them up.]

Hmm... I guess that could work. Add extra armor and a few feet to it. I mean, true, I might lose speed, buuuuut...

[It was better than nothing, in her mind.]

First History Lesson

[In the wake of the disastrous little attempt at recovering the last weapons cache for Roads, Jeremy can be found with a massive pile of books and print-outs of the stone tablet his machine's cameras were able to record when Sophia had done her evil gloating.  With the cache stolen, the images were all of a consolation prize they had gotten for their troubles, and Jeremy was determined to put them to good use.  Nevertheless, it's rough going and his brow is furrowed.]

... I am very nearly out of my league here.

[If he were an archaeologist things would be different, or if he knew the language of the tablet.  But Jeremy was more the "talk about why things were important" kind of historian than a discoverer of forgotten history, more an analyst than Indiana Jones.  Nevertheless, he's jotting down notes and he slowly tries to make progress as best he can.]

But that said... now, more than ever, I cannot... and will not give up!

Unpleasant awakening

Eiji was unconscious when they brought him back, completely exhausted from the power of the PuToTyra combo. Oddly enough, that seemed to be his only physical problem...well, that and the fact that he had five Core Medals in his body right now.

But finally, he begins to stir, and suddenly, he sits up in bed, shouting, "ANKH!"

He might need a little explanation of what just happened.
