Well, I can honestly say that that was not pleasant in the slightest. Can someone fill me in on what happened after I conked out?

Fourth (Inner) Light

[Yeah.  It's the wake of the mission... and Julia is dealing with tremendous highs and lows from it all.  This was the first time... the first time the Corona had really been fighting something of around its own size and tech level, and it had come out wanting.  Yeah it wasn't even meant for fighting but that wasn't any excuse!

[And so Julia's hitting the gym a bit earlier than usual, getting out some frustrations and stress from the battle the best way she knows how: boxing practice.  Yeah, about the only things she can really do reliably are jabs and straights, but that's why she's practicing, so she improve.  Bother her about the mission or other things: y/n?]

[Michael was regarding the dented, maimed and de-powered Wolf that was now getting worked on. He had his own share of bruises too but those were mostly dealt with. In fact the President was shirtless and all clothing above the waist was just bandages.]

Man. What a mess. Here I thought Wolf was plenty tough.

[The weapons he used were also getting a few tune ups here and there. Some circuitry on the shark Launchers was fried from the overcharge that ended with them firing Megalodons of all things at Starscream. The weapon pod that was torn off in the battle needed lots of readjustment and much fixing as did its contents. It was just mess all around there.]

[The president is sitting on a conveniently placed crate and leaning on his knee. Bother him?]

[For those of you who went on the mission...remember that girl in white who ended up collapsing after an arm suddenly stuck out through her chest? Yeah, she's been in the infirmary for treatment, and it seems she's just regained consciousness.

She's fine for the most part, as backed by a doctor's analysis - turns out her injuries weren't all that bad. The only problem is that her Linker Core - the source of her magic powers - has shrunk to an unusual state. It's begun to heal, but she won't be able to use her magic for a while.

Besides that, she's pretty curious and concerned about what happened to Chrono and Fate. Then, there were the others like that Kamen Rider, the girl with propeller legs and the sentient robot hero of the city that saved her life...she almost ended up hitting the last one with Starlight Breaker; thank goodness she could still aim somehow back there.

There was a lot for her to do now, but not much she could do at all. Until she heals from her physical injuries, she's pretty much stuck in bed.

[Out on the hull of the ship on a stormy night there's a figure in a yellow rain coat ... One could almost mistake the coat for an object caught in a cyclone as it spirals around in a flailing blur of yellow.  But after a few seconds, the body collapses, possibly fallen.  The chest of a woman heaves up and down in the heavy rain.]

[Without the yellow blur around it, a grey cloth ball on top of a post is there, soaked with water...]

[The hand holds up a small object... it's hard to make out the stop watch.]

... ugh... 15 seconds... ... it's not even my best...

... I'll never be able to do it, will I?
