All right! Everyone's ready? Your costumes are okay? You know what to do?

[Of course, she's not asking anyone to so anything she wouldn't herself! She's found a toga-like white minidress somewhere, and supplemented it with a halo, wings, and a toy bow with matching quiver of heart-tipped arrows. How good a Cupid costume has she - or even you, maybe - managed in your case?]

Matthew smirks and pops another chocolate in his mouth.

And makes audible noises of enjoyment as he chews.

Resnick replies with a gesture he picked up on Terra and stalks off.

Matthew blinks, then shakes his head and mumbles something to himself.

He jogs after Resnick and catches up.

"Here." He says, holding out the box. "Allow me to demonstrate the unstoppable generosity of the Gurren Brigade. Sample these confections as you please upon this day of Saint Valentine."

He looks at Matthew's face, then down to the chocolates, then back again. He looks less bitter.

"Oh, keep them. If I eat any more Terran snacks, I will render myself unfit for duty. Enjoy them in my place."
