Ferrying messages - no matter how trivial they are across the ship to other people. Interestingly this also helps him with his navigation skills.]

[And he's looking quite proud of it... amusingly the hat tilted over his head a little as he vocalized. He's tugging out what was probably a letter from someone else on the ship - though from who it wasn't very clear.]

[And Vlaska's just going to sit at your feet patiently as his tail slowly moves back and forth. Just. Staring at your newtypeness.]

[Vlaska finds his way barred by a squat golden figure. Goldie the Pepen has - provisionally - the run of the ship, and it's not deigning to move aside for anyone, however adorable their hats may be! It flaps its flippers intimidatingly.]
