[Vlaska is now undertaking another exercise. What is it you ask? Something that would help him remember names and faces. In other words. He's pulling Mail duty across the ship. Ferrying messages - no matter how trivial they are across the ship to other people. Interestingly this also helps him with his navigation skills.]

[He's looking up at you curiously. Do you have a letter you want for him to send to someone? Are you getting a letter? Do you just want to scratch him behind the ear because of that adorable postman's hat somebody decided to make for him just for this occassion?]

[Laura crouches down to scratch his belly.]

Hello Vlaska! Did you get a job? Did you wear your suit to the interview?

[Vlaska purrs happily in response. But interestingly he's pushing your hand away weakly...why?]

Mreeew..

[He actually has a letter for you! How interesting!]

Oh? Something for me?

[Laura looks over the envelope before opening it, curious who may have sent it. Is Vlaska just delivering messages for some collaborator in a stunt, or is he acting as a proper mailman?]

[Vlaska actually IS acting as a proper mailcat given the letters in the small bag he has.]

[As for the letter Laura recieves... it has no name on it. All it has is a drawing of a Kiwi bird - with a speech bubble next to it saying 'Can you guess who sent me?']

[Laura looks puzzled for a moment, then a smile spreads across her face. She fishes about for a pen.]

[On the other side of the paper she draws her own reply - a cactus with a smiley face. Its speech bubble says "I still think they're cute!".]
