Roads is not having a good day. When he returns, the first thing he does is throw absolutely everything off of his desk, sweeping it to the side. Stacks of papers, pencils, drawings, Kouzou's gift, and his computer all get thrown to the floor. Roads then sits down with his heads in his hands at the now-clear desk.
He stays still for quite some time. Occasionally, he will shift a bit, folding his hands in front of him like something is trying his patience, or he will glare at that ancient tome he's cast aside.
"...Fuck."
The second curse is quiet and subdued.

Judging by the Ruina we fought in the Arctic base, there's still three of them left: Aquila, Ignis, and Umbra. And as someone who's already fought the first two, they're loaded with firepower and they have the same kind of tech my machines do: running off of negative emotions.

Nicolai's basically an ancient persian demon, a spirit of destruction, evil and chaos, loosed upon this world after the seal holding him back finally broke...more importantly, why are you willing to...do all that stuff, for me?
