Training Montage!

[Haruka's been discharged from the hospital. She's not started taking shifts piloting yet, but she has started doing regular exercise. If you've been by the pool at all, you've seen her doing laps back and forth. She's ran around the entire L-boat a few times already today, so you might have seen that.

There's not too much to do on the L-boat, especially if you're not working as a pilot. Haruka's time has been pretty much completely devoted to working out, eating, and sleeping.

Catch her mid-exercise, or during a break?]

Weren't you dropped off the White Chalice by that crazy Adventus mech? Then Ichitaka jumped off after you to save you? At which point you saved both of you from a grisly impact?

What part of ANY of that could be construed as accidental?

Or the pilot might just be better than you and that was entirely unavoidable. It wasn't as if he accidentally did that to you, that was obviously entirely deliberate.

And even if you could have prevented it by being more careful? We have no idea what that might have caused. For all we know him spending all that time on you might have been what bought everyone else the time they needed to save the ship.

In any case, if it had been reversed, and Ichitaka had fallen off... wouldn't you have jumped after him?

Then don't you think it's stupid for you to be worrying about this?

You were fighting on the deck of a ship. It was incredibly likely that someone was going to be knocked or thrown off. We were incredibly lucky that it was the two of you and not Gundam Freya or the Aile Chevalier, so stop beating yourself up. You both fell, you protected each other. Isn't that supposed to be a good thing?

It doesn't matter what you want. I figure you don't really want to be fighting at all right. I don't want to be here.

Also... might have prevented? So are you going to blame yourself for the destruction of all those colonies to? Or the damage done to the White Chalice or perhaps the fact that I'm here on this island? Or maybe you should take the blame for the Second Impact to? After all, it's entirely feasible you MIGHT have traveled back in time at some point and had a chance to prevent it but failed.

Worrying about what might have been is stupid. You might have prevented them from getting hurt, but you also might have accidentally damaged the hull yourself with an attack and killed everyone on board. But neither of this matters because they didn't happen.

There are an infinite number of "mights." Worrying about one of them is really just an exercise in continuously being worried.

It won't matter if the Festum kill you. Trying to improve yourself is good, but you should pick a better time. Concentrate on surviving. One we get off this boat, there will be plenty of time to train. But we have to get off it first.
