Training Montage!

[Haruka's been discharged from the hospital. She's not started taking shifts piloting yet, but she has started doing regular exercise. If you've been by the pool at all, you've seen her doing laps back and forth. She's ran around the entire L-boat a few times already today, so you might have seen that.


There's not too much to do on the L-boat, especially if you're not working as a pilot. Haruka's time has been pretty much completely devoted to working out, eating, and sleeping.

[Devon is there - slouched under anything slouchable. Does she want to look cool or is she just tired? The constant Festum attacks exhausted her, what with her habit of facing them on her own, whether told to or not. But... she's still alive somehow. Her hands are bandaged though, wounded from overuse of special Shifter attacks.]

[Haruka stops her barrage of crunches for the moment, breathing heavily.]

I...I'm not sure...how to put it...

[The more hard-working Haruka is, the more laidback will Devon act. It's like if there was a balance - a zero sum game.]

Yeah...I guess so. I...I..don't want anyone to have to cover for my weaknesses.

[Devon stands up and will walk over, so that her figure obscures the sun. Zero-sum game.]

This sounds like another person who, too, is on this L-Boat.

He does not wish to hurt his friends, and believes they think ill of him. So he distances himself away from them.

The distancing itself, not the act that it follows, is the problem here. If he was more selfish and did not think that every single mistake ruins others' lives forever... perhaps this drama could be avoided.

[During one of her breaks Haruka would see Ichitaka exiting the hospital looking even more depressed than he had been lately. He looked half dead having been staying up most of the time always on standby inside of Rushbird. Since the TSX pilots started to fall he made a small priority to check on them.

Upon seeing Haruka he just lowers his head and walks past her as quickly as possible to get back to the hangar.]

Cheng Disapproves...from a distance

[Keeping watch from close by, Cheng sees the action Ichitaka has taken in regards to Haruka and just shakes his head in...you guessed it, dissaproval. He resolves to talk to him when there is a free moment available.
