The transmission managed to ruin Lucchini's good day, she wanted to go exploring, but hey, looks like she was going to be stuck in side.

Okay the behave warning was what was getting her. Lucchini always behaved! Just not by everyone's standards.

So what is she doing sneaking around... Couldn't be getting ready to cause some trouble could it? And why is she squirreling broken mecha parts into a corner?

have a small yelp because she was really trying to do something on her own.

"Rebuilding the device Shirley and I built to track her speed... I didn't break it, but they said we can't cause trouble so I was going to do this so I didn't get into trouble."

She looks up. "I didn't take anything you needed did I?

MarKus ruffles her hair then plops down and looks through the pile.

He moves this and that, and only takes one piece away. "Not really, no. This is actually going to come in handy fixing something else, but you couldn't known I'd need it. Not like you pulled it out of anything, right?"

"I just went through the piles of broken parts. I figured no one would have a problem if I did that." She sits down pulling the device from where she keeps it tucked away near her striker unit. "It's pretty straight forward, but I can't seem to get good readings out in space, so I was hoping to fix that."

"As long as they're broken. So, you wanna do this all by yourself, or do you want some help."

And cuz he can, he just bats at one of her ponytails. "Space is pretty weird like that. And really, let's not have her speed test out there. Like... once you start going... you need a lot of force to stop of you'll keep going.

Then we'd both loose her."

"You know they didn't mean you had to stay on the ship, kiddo. You could hitch a ride with me on my Gundam into town. I'm sure there's something you can do there." Allenby's leaning on the doorway, smiling at Frannie.

"Yeah but I'd have to wear more than my uniform. Pants feel so... wrong." She grinned back a little as she pulls an old device from near her striker. "Though would be fun to get off the ship for a little while."

"Well they only said 'Outside the dome'. We can go inside it and take that off. Besides, I'm going to be wearing my trace suit inside the dome."

"True..." She looks at the parts she was going to work with and shrugs. "I'm in, maybe they have a sweets shop, I'm starting to get low on candy anyway." She nodded. "When do you want to leave?"

"We should get going, before they commence Eva operations. C'mon, my Gundam's being prepped for launch." Allenby grinned. "Bring something shiny, we might be able to get some of the local currency for it."

[Oh hey, Lucchini's also taking away some of the Corona's wreckage. Not that it'll ever be operational ever again, after all. Still, she can't help but be curious.]

"Hope to. You don't mind do you? I mean that I take these parts?"

Julia nodded and gave Lucchini a smile.

"Go right ahead. They're not doing me any good as it is, and we don't have what's needed to repair the Corona either."

"I'm only going to need parts of these, I promise when we get what you need to repair it I'll find you replacement parts for what I use." Lucchini would make good on that promise too.

"The Corona's not likely to ever get repaired though, so it's no bother to me at all."

She paused for a moment, looking at Lucchini before speaking up again.

"Lucchini... what did it feel like? When you first became a soldier?"

Kincaide surveyed the pile of junk building up in the corner.

"What's this about?"

She grinned a little. I want to try to build something. It's not going to be big, but I don't know the parts I'll need yet."

"Didn't realize you were a mechanic as well as a pilot."

He eyed a set of broken optics, "You know these are almost all busted, right?"

"I'm not really a mechanic... Picked up a few things hanging out with Shirley and Markus. Wouldn't trust myself fixing my strikers let alone fixing one of the other machines on my own, but I'm sure it can't be that hard right? I mean to build something from scratch."

She nodded. "But like this..." She holds up the optics he had been looking at and another which was a little bigger. "I might be able to fix this one with the smaller one."

He carefully keeps his face clear of the very dubious thoughts he has about this plan. "What are you planning on making, anyways?

"Huh..." She smiles. "Two things actually. Fixing the tracking device that Shirley and I use to track her... And I wanted to make a frog. Though, I think if I made one it would won't move."

Philip pauses for a moment. "The materials are definitely available, and I'm sure you could find someone to program an AI for it. It wouldn't be the same as our Memory Gadgets, but we could still make it move."

Uh... Philip? Maybe not the best idea.

"I wasn't thinking making it move... But if we could that would be fun." She smiled. "Want to help me?"

"Of course. I do need to fix Bat Shot as well, however."
