I could have killed her earlier. We were in town for a few days, she's just a normal person, I have a giant death robot...

And I stayed at that dinner even though I knew she had nothing left for me...

Margret, that woman from the Kirin unit? She said it could let people enforce their will on reality, so...probably anything.

I don't know if it's possible, but... those monsters, that crystal, it's almost like a form of Sophium, summoning something like Shifting Entities.

It wasn't a comfortable thought during the fight. I don't like the implications much, either.

And if that madwoman was willing to throw this piece away, she must have others. Others that let her do... more.

I wonder if we can't put it to our own ends...

Something like it, yes. [She shows Laura the tool she's been using so far-it looks like an arm-mounted keyboard and a set of glasses.]

Her men had their own versions of this thing. But it's what I use to control and summon him, yes. I've never exactly figured out how it works.

This might be the time to try. Are you willing to have some of the engineers and magicians aboard have a look at it?
