Settling In
[1]
There's Richard, lying down in a bed in the medical facility again. Has been a while, ever since the matter of stopping Saturn and its moons from destroying the world. Just as before, his body seems to have suffered no specific form of trauma, and yet... is damaged.
But since then, he has healed, and is waking up now, groggy, lightheaded, but seemingly, okay.
"So... how much did I miss? Did we win?" He asks whoever might be near.
[2]
"IDEIGI!" There's a loud scream in the hangar from a certain Britannian Engineer, who disappears in light as his knight-like machine, dramatic as it is tall, takes shape from a shimmering pillar. The machine slowly and assuredly rises to its feet, before stopping as it and its pilot seem to realise something.
"Can... someone open the door please? I'm gonna try and practice with this thing... see if I can control it better.
[3]
Perhaps you were curious, maybe you got the wrong room, or perhaps there's some other whole reason for why you're here, but it would appear that you've stumbled upon the tempoarily occupied room of one Richard Chevalier. There's not particularly much lying around, what with the young man lacking much in the way of possessions anyway, but he seems to be working on... something, as indicated by the soldering iron in his hands.

[He visibly shudders at the thought.]
You know, they claimed to somehow be the same as us because of some distant origin or whatever. Even if thats not true because of this... 'divergent evolution' thing one guy mentioned...
[Funny that for a smart mechanic, he seems to struggle with something like that.]
Just being related at all to... so much teeth, is a little unsettling.

Trust me, as bad as the Invaders are you really shouldn't let being slightly related bother you.
There are for more important things to worry about.

Are you sure you don't want a thruster pack or anything?
Re: 2

Well, for now, do you want me to come with you? In case you need a hand...

[He lowers one of Ideigi's large hands down, opening it up.]

[Laura steps back from the controls, and it seems like thick mist seeps out of her skin, quickly hiding her from view. When it thins enough for her to be visible again, she's in silver armour, and floats up and over on to Ideigi's shoulder.]
no subject
[That would appear to be all he has to say, as the fifty metre tall super robot steps forth from the ship, and out onto the landscape.]

[The voice over the radio has an English accent.]

Re: 1
[He blinks twice, looking down at the AI.]
I don't suppose you've have some kind of record log?
no subject
no subject
Um... do you have a visual record log I can look at?
no subject
(Tatsu plugs herself into a nearby screen. Tatsu opens the record and fast forwards to around when she grabbed Richard during the fight. Richard sees the defeat of Stinger/Cohen and sees them pass through the portal where there is so much Getter! More Getter than any realm should have room for! He also sees Ryouma and Hayato leave before the screen suddenly changes to show Earth again. The record ends there.)

[He's just... staring, a jaw slightly unhinged as he tries to simply comprehend what he saw there.]
So... what now?

Re: 2
[Thats... a point actually. Thing looks spotless.]
So um... about the door?
no subject
[Raynor gets into his own knight-themed robot and starts working with the hatch! Though it's only Gundam-sized, so in comparison with Ideigi it's more like a toy knight.]
no subject
So... where did your machine come from? I don't suppose it might be related to Ideigi somehow?
