Settling In
[1]
There's Richard, lying down in a bed in the medical facility again. Has been a while, ever since the matter of stopping Saturn and its moons from destroying the world. Just as before, his body seems to have suffered no specific form of trauma, and yet... is damaged.
But since then, he has healed, and is waking up now, groggy, lightheaded, but seemingly, okay.
"So... how much did I miss? Did we win?" He asks whoever might be near.
[2]
"IDEIGI!" There's a loud scream in the hangar from a certain Britannian Engineer, who disappears in light as his knight-like machine, dramatic as it is tall, takes shape from a shimmering pillar. The machine slowly and assuredly rises to its feet, before stopping as it and its pilot seem to realise something.
"Can... someone open the door please? I'm gonna try and practice with this thing... see if I can control it better.
[3]
Perhaps you were curious, maybe you got the wrong room, or perhaps there's some other whole reason for why you're here, but it would appear that you've stumbled upon the tempoarily occupied room of one Richard Chevalier. There's not particularly much lying around, what with the young man lacking much in the way of possessions anyway, but he seems to be working on... something, as indicated by the soldering iron in his hands.

We could also do other things than just spar.

I think you'll get the hang of them faster if you train against moving targets. What do you say?
no subject
[Ideigi makes a stance, one fist pulled back.]
Ready when you are!
no subject
[Raynor throws the large rock into Richard's direction!]
no subject
[Ideigi's fist shines, before the rock is shattered by the flying glow that erupts from it.]
no subject
[Raynor throws his sword, sending it spinning towards Ideigi!]
Claymore Boomerang!
no subject
[Ideigi moves as if it were the one confused rather than its owner, even as the thrown blade draws close.]
Paladin Bl-
[Too late, the sword hit and Ideigi stumbles backwards, taking a few moments to even warily regain its footing.]

You need to work on your reflexes. Reaction time is one of the most important things in a fight.
...Are you okay in there?
no subject
[Rather quickly rectified though, with a full yell of its name.]
N-Now lets continue!
no subject
[Raynor throws the sword again... But this time at such trajectory that it strikes at Richard from the side rather than up front!]
no subject
[Richard only realises it at the last second, but does manage to - rather awkwardly mind you - swat the smaller blade away from his side.]
no subject
[And now Raynor is throwing another rock, not even waiting for his sword to return.]
no subject
[This time though, Ideigi just continues moving, bringing around the shield on its arm to block the rock. It stands fairly firm, before knocking it aside.]
Simple enough.

Paragon of Wisdom! Change, Mage Form!
[And the robot's coloration changes from red and gold to blue and more blue! Paragon charges a large energy ball between its hands and throws it at Ideigi! It's slow-moving, but big...]
no subject
[He's... actually confident on this one, as he raises Ideigi's shield, standing firm as the attack approaches...]
Guardian Shield!
[Because an energy barrier expands outwards, and attempts to tank the hit.]
no subject
Good, you have potential. It shouldn't be long before you can move Ideigi as easily as you move your own limbs.
You need to learn how to use all of your weapons defensively, though.

[Paragon turns back into the red Fighter form.]
Throw a rock at me! Size doesn't matter.
no subject
[Ideigi picks up a nearby rock formation, given a moment or two to tear it right oout of the ground, and its maybe half the machine's size. Whilst he makes a few uncertain murmurs, Richard does eventually throw the thing, wondering what the result will be.]
no subject
Haaa!
[A quick slash with the claymore! Two halves of the boulder fall to the ground without either touching the Paragon.]

Skill, and enough raw strength to break through solid rock. But I doubt that'll be a problem for Ideigi.
no subject
[And so Richard was pleased to practice for the rest of the day, if need be.]
