[A motorcycle goes across the land, finally coming to a stop at the Chalice. The Rider gets off, removes his helmet, and it's Eiji! However, if anyone met Eiji when they first picked up Shoutaro and Philip, they'll notice he seems oddly serious, and the ever-present Ankh is nowhere in sight.]

These monsters called Greeed. They're dangerous, and they've taken something very important that's increased their strength. The red one also absorbed my friend.

I haven't heard about them before, which means they're probably not in the Federation area. I wish I could help more, but that's all I got for now. I can lend my hand if you need fighting them, though. I hope you'll find them soon.

Well, even if I can't become OOO, Mayor Kougami lent me a special prototype of his old Rider form, Birth. So I can still help in fights. I can also help out in different areas of the ship--I've worked a lot of odd jobs over the years.

But nothing specialistic? It's okay. From what I've seen there's a lot of odd jobs that need to be done on the ship. Actually, "Odd" is a good way to describe it in general.

Not really, no. It's a habit from traveling. I did whatever I could wherever I went. So I can do a little of everything, but I'm not an expert in any of it.
