The Path of Vengeance / Walking the darker path

[Anyone looking for Mad would find her in an empty work-room in the Chalice - digging information out of Maria's Black Box. For those who were on the mission, some of the voices heard would be gratingly familiar.]

"Why the fuck should we?!? These places are like a dime a dozen. If this one goes to hell we'll just go to another!"

[Scrambled warbling as Mad searches through the logs.]

"HOW ABOUT NO! AND WE FUCK YOUR STUPID BITCHBOT!"
"FUCK THIS TOWN, FUCK YOU, FUCK EVERYONE! THERE'S A MILLION OTHER SUCKERVILLES OUT THERE LIKE THIS ONE! AND IF WE WANT TO SHIT OVER EVERY ONE WE SET FOOT IN, NOBODY'S GONNA STOP US!"

[Mad's own voice is now screaming in terror before she cuts off the feed. But... there's a smile on her face... she's laughing now... and it is NOT a good thing.]

Assholes... you're gonna get what you fucking deserve... one way or another..

[She's tracing her hand along the slide of her pistol. That look in her eyes is terrifying to say the least.]

Hearing those voices again made him wince until he realized they were coming from a nearby room. Peeking in, he noticed Mad.]

Uh, hey!

..Hmph... you... you're that stupid looking Rider who said that name

[Gen, you can see AND hear Mad slowly cracking her knuckles as if she wants to bury them into your nose.]

Hey, I'm not stupid-looking! I'm awesome!

...and what name? Oh, you mean my girlfriend's!

[No, he doesn't realize that his girlfriend's name is also Mad's true name. And he notices the knuckle-cracking.]

...you okay?

No. I'm not okay. After that day, I don't think I'll ever be again. But that doesn't matter right now...

[She's walking over to throw a punch!]

BECAUSE ALL I CARE ABOUT RIGHT NOW IS SMASHING YOUR FACE IN!!!

[Fact: Gentarou might have Hana's love for the entire world and wants to befriend it, he DOESN'T have her penchant for standing still and letting a frightening girl punch 'em in the face.

He awkwardly dodges the strike, eyes wide.]

That name... I hate that name! It makes me sick! As long as I lived, I would've been happy to never hear that name again! Because as long as I never heard it I never would've had to remember what that bitch Himura did to me!!

[Fact: This in fact, raises Mad's rage even more. Before - while she wasn't out to befriend the world, she would've admired the concept. Now? The very suggestion would incite hate and loathing]

Nadeshiko... a weakling's name.... the name of a scared little girl who dragged herself away from everyone and everything and barely could even survive... my name but. NOT. ANY! MORE!!

[Holy crap! GEN! SHE'S CHARGING!]

[As Mad began to rant, Gen went for the Fourze Driver. It's a surprise that the crew is still letting someone this angry run around and be a danger to everyone. As Mad charges, Gen barely steps out of the way, slapping the Driver on his waist.]

That's where you're wrong. Nadeshiko's an awesome name. It's the name of my girlfriend - a Rider like me! If you can't appreciate who you are, then I pity you.

I know what I am!

[She snarls viciously as she faces off with Gen, fists tight.]

I'm a shadow... a ghost. a lie. I'm just here and I'm nothing!

And I don't need your fucking pity... all I want is to get back at everyone who fucked over my life!

[She's going for the belt Gen! She's not going to let you Henshin without a fight!]

...then, that's a lot of people!

[Gen's hands quickly catch Mad's, barely stopping her from grabbing the Driver.]

Mad, snap out of it! This is insane! You're going to hurt people and not just me!

I DON'T CARE! I JUST DON'T CARE ANYMORE!

[She lashes out by headbutting you in the chest Gen! With how you're holding back her arms, there's honestly little way to avoid it!]

If I don't get to exist... If I DON'T GET TO HOLD ONTO MY DREAMS! MY HAPPY MEMORIES! MY FUCKING FUTURE! THEN WHY SHOULD I CARE ABOUT ANYONE ELSE?!

[Despite the many calming talks she had, Mad was easily slipping back in and out of her violent depression - her predisposition to solving matters with action was working against her mental health... and possibly the physical health of everyone else.]

[Gen grunted as Mad headbutted him in the chest, releasing her hands, but giving him the space to breathe.]

...having a name that you don't like... thinking that you don't have a future... doesn't mean you have to take on the entire world and take everyone else's futures!

It's time to understand that your way is wrong!

[He flips the switch and the countdown is on!]

[3! 2! 1!]

Everything about me is wrong. Everything.

[Her fists tightened despite her now saddened expression, fighting a RIDER with nothing but her bare hands on her side. A fight she probably wouldn't win. But she didn't care. She needed this...]

If I'm going to hurt like this... I don't want to be alone.

[She snarled the last words out... the practice with the Clan Wolf elementals. She was used to fighting opponents far stronger than her. Lets see if she learned from it.]

Henshin!

[The switch is thrown and the transformation kicks in, replacing Gentarou with Kamen Rider Fourze.]

UCHUU KITAAAAAAAAAAAA! Alright, Mad, let's settle this man to man!

[She backed off slightly at the exhaust blast from the transformation, but the moment Gentarou finished off with his signature phrase - Mad took the initiative to tackle him by the mid-section!]

GRANDSTAND WHEN YOU'VE WON CONEHEAD!!

[Oh, that's not how things are supposed to work! As Mad tackles Gen by the mid-section, he stumbles slightly, but quickly regains the upper hand.]

And you... need to relax!

[Sorry, Mad, but he's going to lift up his foot and kick back, intending on knocking you back.]

[Mad always had trouble with kicks when she pulls something like this. She learned enough of her lesson to grab onto the foot - though only after she was hit.]

WHNNGH!

[That... hurt.. a little more than her practice fights... but whatever. She got the result she needed. Gen! Mad shifts her hold to send you tumbling to the ground in order to get you into a leg-lock! React quickly!]

ULP!

[Gen drops to the ground with her, caught off-guard by her counterattack. Now finding his legs starting to be tied up, he goes for his own counter, flipping one of the switches.]

[LAUNCHER ON]

[And the rocket launcher on his left leg activates, its bulk preventing Mad from finishing the job.]

[Mad has to pull back with her hold suddenly being disrupted by the sudden bulk. I order to counter this though - she pulls the squirrel maneuver.]

RAAAARGH!!

[That being punching Gen in the groin. Hard.]

[New Fact: Rider suits do not come with cups. Which means Mad's punch is going to connect, it's going to hurt and it's probably going to lower the chances of a human/SOLU kid later on down the line just a bit.]

Ow...

[And with that proving to be successful, Mad's going to pin the Rider's arms as best as she can with her legs to keep from any MORE surprise switches - her hands? are grabbing onto Gen's helmet wings to repeatedly smack him onto the floor - the distance means it probably won't hurt that much... though the fact that it was done repeatedly....]

I'M NOT GONNA LOSE! NOT AGAIN! NEVER AGAIN!

[Oh, this was embarrassing - how do you tell someone like Tsukasa or Ren that you got your ass handed to you by a rage-filled teen while in Rider form?]

Ow ow ow ow ow -- stop! -- ow ow ow ow...

[He may not be able to hit any switches right now, but he DOES have one trump card - the booster on his back. And with him on the floor, the booster activating is going to propel them both into a wall!]

!! Oh fu-

-THRAACCK!!!-

[Good news Gen! Despite smashing into a wall you have successfully dislodged Mad! Bad news? She's unconcious and her head is bleeding a little. So it's going to need Bandaging. Again.]

[Gen's going to let out a small sigh of relief at the fact that he's safe for now. However, with Mad unconscious and bleeding, she's going to need some help.]

Sheesh...

[Undoing his transformation, Gen stands up and, awkwardly, goes to pick up Mad and carry her back to the infirmary. His balls still hurts.]
