Finally. I was beginning to see the hospital walls in my sleep.

Um, I haven't gotten a chance to meet most of you yet, but I wish to offer thanks to those who had helped me back when I was fighting. I know it's been a while, but... I only now have been deemed healthy enough to wander about. I would also like to offer my services now that I am well. Though I don't know how much use I will be, but I'll try.

... I don't suppose anyone can catch me up on what's been happening? I kind of missed out on most of the news while in the hospital.

Just a small farm out in eastern Washington... I honestly don't know what town is the closest to it.

So...what's your story? I signed up for an Idol audition, but it turns out it was really to pilot a giant robot called an iDOL.

Well, there are these golem-like things popping up, called a colossus, and only my machine can defeat them. They're really huge... and I don't really know what they could end up destroying if left alone. The first one I ran into showed up at the same time as a group of you guys did... and they lent a hand. After defeating it, I passed out, and you guys were nice enough to drag me back here to your hospital.

Welcome back to the waking world, Wendell. Though I have to say I'm not sure it's all that welcoming to you.

It's been a few weeks since you went under. We're in space now, found quite a few friends, and had more close calls against rather dangerous enemies than I'd like.

Oh yes. And one of our new recruits said we were allied with Celestial Being in the middle of battle, so we're bound to lose points with various government bodies if we haven't already.

... This isn't by any chance your first time in space, is it?

Yes, space. You know, the thing space ships travel in. We've been to the moon, as unfortunate as that stop became, and back and we just stopped off at Neo America.

Frankly, I'm surprised we can still stop off at colonies for resupplies still. We haven't had that great of a track record with the last few we've visited, and sooner or later people will start thinking we're bad luck.

The bad news is that several dozen groups of bad guys want us dead. The good news is that we have enough various machines and pilots to hold them off, and new ones join every time we stop somewhere.

Think you will meet any Colossi this way? I don't know will they appear in space, but we can't stay here forever. And White Chalice tends to attract attention.

There aren't any in space that I know of... I might stumble across some if I tag along on Earth, too. If need be... my machine will keep scanning for them. It will take a while, but if we don't wander into a colossus, I can go searching for them.

It's good to be out and about, but I'm feeling really stiff from so much inactivity. It will be nice to finally be of some use.
