Finally. I was beginning to see the hospital walls in my sleep.

Um, I haven't gotten a chance to meet most of you yet, but I wish to offer thanks to those who had helped me back when I was fighting. I know it's been a while, but... I only now have been deemed healthy enough to wander about. I would also like to offer my services now that I am well. Though I don't know how much use I will be, but I'll try.

... I don't suppose anyone can catch me up on what's been happening? I kind of missed out on most of the news while in the hospital.

Think you will meet any Colossi this way? I don't know will they appear in space, but we can't stay here forever. And White Chalice tends to attract attention.

There aren't any in space that I know of... I might stumble across some if I tag along on Earth, too. If need be... my machine will keep scanning for them. It will take a while, but if we don't wander into a colossus, I can go searching for them.

Just don't disappear without a warning. I doubt if anyone will like the fact that we suddenly have one robot less very much.

Well, in any case, good you're out of the bed. Staying in a hospital for so long must suck.

It's good to be out and about, but I'm feeling really stiff from so much inactivity. It will be nice to finally be of some use.

It's not just about being useful. Lying in bed for days with almost nothing to do feels incredibly constraining and, more importantly, boring. It's almost like you're in a prison. I don't wish that to anyone.

Yeah. With the farm there was always something to do.

... Um, I don't suppose there would be an... uh, archery range here? I'm sure I'm out of practice by now.

There is a normal shooting gallery somewhere around. I doubt they'll mind that you're firing arrows at the targets instead of bullets. Why use a bow instead of a gun, though? We invented those for a reason.

Living in the middle of nowhere... Archery has a little easier upkeep.

Huh, I haven't looked at it from this perspective. Reusing bullets is slightly more tricky than arrows.

Also, when your targets are animals, both weapons end up with a dead body. I've just found archery the easier option. Quieter, too. A single shot won't scare off the rest of the nearby game.

I feel it won't be as useful here, but I don't want to fall out of practice.

Well, a single shot with a bow will turn a human into a dead body too, if your aim is good enough. Can't make any guarantees for robots though.

I don't know if Sigil has any weapon aside from the sword, so I don't think I'll be able to test it.

You could try fighting the robots on foot, if you have a death wish. Or are a Kamen Rider and never told me.

Ah, no, I don't think I'll be trying that.

Good. We have enough small people fighting out there. It takes a special mindset to take on mecha 10 times your size on foot. One that's not afraid of it all being over with one step.

Considering the size of that colossus... I'm going to take any size advantage I can get.
