(no subject)

[[After having the Technica dredged up from rubble and forced into the ship, the pilot finally gets some "me" time to take in everything.  He's actually pretty twitchy... adrenaline and excitement running through him.  Firstly, he just wrecked shop out there, up until that fuckin smaller lizard caused some power outage in his machine.

Eventually, he gets the hatch opened and steps out, still uniformed.  This isn't your ordinary Kamen Rider, boy!]]

[[After finding a chance to change, and time for a food, some kid is off and scampering about on the Technica that just got hauled in.  He's just there, acting like he's been around the whole time.  And what's MOOOORE, is that from there, he starts getting around and climbing over some of the other machines.  No, he didn't ask, he's just there, on them, inspecting, reading paperwork available on them.  It's pretty harmless, but he's CLIMBING on your machine!]]

Wahrheit is a bit... uhm... damaged as of right now. It'll be needing replacement parts when we return to Earth. I can show you the interior, but I'd prefer to get it fixed first before we do that. Until then, here's a pamphlet...

[He hands you something that says "Kojima Poisoning and You!"]

[identity profile] howling-alone.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 06:24 am (UTC)(link)
Not...quite... The Kojima generator is self contained. I feel no residual effects unless the reactor explodes or springs a leak. It sprung a leak about a week ago, which was fixed, and if it explodes, I won't be alive to worry about Kojima poisoning. It's more a guide for the mechanics and those working around the thing...

If you want to put it that way.

[He holds up his hand, all five fingers extended, the back of his hand facing MarKus...]

Don't mess with the reactor. [He lowers his index finger]
Or the boosters... [his pinky...]
The weapons... [his ring...]
Or the armor. [aaaand his thumb...]

In other words, just don't touch it...

[identity profile] howling-alone.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 06:36 am (UTC)(link)
That falls under the armor... but if you want, sure... [He lowers his middle finger, balls his hand up into a fist, then suddenly makes a low jab!]

[identity profile] howling-alone.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 06:46 am (UTC)(link)
There use to be a thing known as private property and respect...

[Alexei's a bit more trained than to let some wild swings get a hit on him, using his arms to block MarKus' strikes.]

You want to work on it, or even breathe on it, you earn it, you loud mouthed brat...

[identity profile] howling-alone.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 07:01 am (UTC)(link)
[Alexei would make a grab for said arm. Success means he would twist said arm around MarKus' back amazingly fast.]

If only so the person working on it doesn't die some horrible death. More mechanics equals more repairs. More repairs means units can be fielded faster. What suit you work on is not my business, but if you ever want to even look at Wahrheit again, you'll at least learn how it works entirely... That means taking that pamphlet out of your pocket and actually reading it.

[identity profile] howling-alone.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 07:10 am (UTC)(link)
Because to me, right now, you are a little kid. [Nupe, he's just going to tighten his grip more]

At least Lowe had the decency to read on how NEXT units sort of worked, and that 'book' of his was definitely more substantial than that pamphlet.

[He finally lets go and shoves MarKus away]

[identity profile] howling-alone.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 07:29 am (UTC)(link)
The other mechanic that I trust. Granted, he'll have his hands full when we return to Earth.

[identity profile] howling-alone.livejournal.com 2011-08-24 07:38 am (UTC)(link)
Lowe Gear already had fun with that, thanks to PRIME deciding to overclock the generator without my knowledge. I'm no mechanic, and the Wahrheit's mechanisms require a fine touch. The more specialists I have, the better. If I have one guy work on weapons, the other can do generators, et cetera. The job gets done faster, roll it out, get to work on the next one and do that just as fast.

[identity profile] aprimeanswer.livejournal.com 2011-08-25 02:08 am (UTC)(link)
[A tall, muscular, aggressive looking guy in mirrored shades strides up to the two of you. He feigns a russian accent.]

You has problem with leetle man, LYNX pilot? PRIME takes care of for you, da?

[The big man gives a wide grin, a fang showing in the corner of his mouth as he cracks his knuckles and looks at the new kid.]

[identity profile] howling-alone.livejournal.com 2011-08-25 07:20 am (UTC)(link)
...since when were you Russian from an East Asian company?

[He looks...slightly perturbed]

If you want him to be your mechanic, you can let the little brat take care of Reinheit. I'm sure you two would get along infamously.

[identity profile] aprimeanswer.livejournal.com 2011-08-26 03:11 am (UTC)(link)
[[PRIME drops the accent, pretty much ignoring MarKus for the moment.]]

That's actually what I was thinking. The kid's got moxie, even if he is a weak little shit that even you could beat. I respect that kind of drive. Who knows, with enough exposure and some training, maybe he'll end up taking your spot as my partner.

[His grin widens as he turns to MarKus.]

So, kid, the guy you're looking at right now? None other than the Specimen Prime of humanity, defender of the truth and purity of our planet. You're new here...what company or mech are you assigned with?

[identity profile] aprimeanswer.livejournal.com 2011-08-26 03:23 am (UTC)(link)
...So you just "wandered" onto a high security ship full of giant robots...

[PRIME cocks an eyebrow at you, crossing his arms.]

Yeah, not buying it. Fess up, kid, or you might find yourself tossed out an airlock in short order.
