[[The typically stern, calculating, stone face of the major is broken into a girly smile. She stands beside the newly-arrived stealth fighter, long after it's pilot has sauntered off to deal with the captain, or whatever other Chalice occupants might drag her away.

Clearly, this overly happy grin is something rare for the Major... She'd even admit her cheeks here hurting! Just what in the gosh-golly heck is she so giddy about?

That's because it's not just a machine. It's a Jet!

A rare sight to behold, huh? It's a reminder of the times when combat wasn't almost entirely dominated by giant robots.

I'm not sure if you understand what this means to me.

Strike Units are rather niche when it comes to the comparison of how many mecha are used on and off this planet. The Strikers themselves are considered a sort of... upgrade from many fighter planes. But to see one still in usage and in such good condition. [[Squee~]]
