Clearly, this overly happy grin is something rare for the Major... She'd even admit her cheeks here hurting! Just what in the gosh-golly heck is she so giddy about?

Not at all, but, it is something you'd have to adapt to, considering you're used to sitting in a seat. There are some foot controls in most mobile suits, aren't there?

In most, yes. Though from what I understand, there's a new kind of cockpit Zeon R&D is looking into based on an idea I had, once. But it's still very much on the drawing board.
