First Note | The Ace Appears
[1]
(You here a mecha landing in the hangar and decide to investigate. You soon see a new mecha, specifically a new Desu unit in the hangar. However this Desu unit is quite different from the Claimer class units. The cockpit opens to reveal a woman in her late 20s. She jumps down with unusual grace and ease before turning to see you.)
My name is Seiren Kurokawa, pilot of the Desu Ellen. I would like to speak to the one in charge.

(Seiren is walking around the Chalice. She isn't looking for anything in particular, she is just trying to get familiar with the lay out of the Chalice. Bother?)

The general who managed to get onboard, Lucas, used a robot that comprised itself entirely of Funnels, including its cockpit. He was able to get through by swarming towards the ship, hiding himself amongst a sea of funnels.
Jeremy Gatsby is the one I'm least familiar with, but he fights using weaponized barriers, or so the reports say. You'll have to ask around about him.
DR RGNK is, quite frankly, the most dangerous one. His robot is more or less a giant soundspeaker protected by a massive barrier, and he uses music to influence people's minds.
Yolanda, the one leading the attack from outside, fights using what I believe to be the most normal unit in the bunch, as it's only outlandish feature is its teleportation. It has a barrier, a pair of giant swords, and a devestating beam cannon in its chest.
Anything else?

Has the Chalice come up with any plans for the rescue of everyone that was captured by Adventus?

I don't like the tone that you are taking with me Bidan. I do not appreciate the fact that I have come to help and you are being antagonistic. And to answer your questions, no I am not here to be an observer. I am here to help the Chalice and specifically the PreDesus currently aboard. As for teaching Himesaki, I intend to train all of the PreDesus to the best of my abilities and I have experience in teaching Desu pilots for three years now, however I can also see that Himesaki will take more training then most. As for how I will aid in the rescue of your allies, you answered that yourself. I am the ace of Project PreDestiny. I have been piloting Desus for five years now and had intensive military training for many years before that. I have performed many rescue operations. I have more experience then most.
(Seiren's eyes narrow just a pinch more and looks arrogantly at Kamille.)
Do these answers suit you Bidan? Or are there more complaints you wish to express?

I see... Then you're essentially superflous in all cases. [what.] This plan has been in the works long before your presence aboard this ship, so anything you can contribute to the cause is simply semantics in both short- and long- term. Your only possible emotional connections to us are the two PreDesus onboard and the one currently captured, of the ones onboard, only one of them you actually know on a personal level. Your title of Ace is meaningless to me: it doesn't make you anymore important than the rest of us on this ship, nor does your experience in rescue operations.

What is your problem?! I am here to help you save lives and you get angry at me! You are obviously blinded by your anger right now. Let me tell you something then, if you go in with all of this anger, you can get not only yourself killed but the ones you are trying to save killed. If the only way to cool down that head of yours is to fight me then fine. However, we must restrain from doing too much damage to each other as we are about to go on a mission where lives are at stake. First to hit the opponent three times wins. Do you agree to these terms Bidan?

I agree, Kurokawa. Let me show you why you're title of ace is meaningless!
