First Note | The Ace Appears

(You here a mecha landing in the hangar and decide to investigate. You soon see a new mecha, specifically a new Desu unit in the hangar. However this Desu unit is quite different from the Claimer class units. The cockpit opens to reveal a woman in her late 20s. She jumps down with unusual grace and ease before turning to see you.)

My name is Seiren Kurokawa, pilot of the Desu Ellen. I would like to speak to the one in charge.

(Seiren is walking around the Chalice. She isn't looking for anything in particular, she is just trying to get familiar with the lay out of the Chalice. Bother?)

Himesaki? Might you be related to Professor Himesaki then? Is that how you got a Desu unit?

Ah of course. Now I was sent here as we have been informed of the capture of Eri Kurumu. What can you tell me about how she was captured?

Adventus attacked. They ambushed us and one of their generals broke inside. He ended up unleashing a set of robots that captured her and a number of others.

...she got captured defending the captain.

(Seiren takes a moment to process all of the information that Hana has given her.)

I see. A sneak attack. Tell me, where were you and Myoudouin during the attack? Was anyone else aiding Kurumu?

Sora... Sora aided in trying to stop the man who broke inside.

[she hung her head.]

I panicked and hid.

You...WHAT?! An enemy general was attacking from within the ship and capturing the members of the Chalice and you hid?! To say that I am disappointed in you is an understatement! You should feel lucky that I don't strip you of your rights to be a PreDesu!

I panicked, I admit it. And saying I'm sorry won't fix things, I know it...

...that's why I'm going to help rescue Eri. I don't care what you or anyone else says!

I won't strip you of your rights for only two reasons. One, right now we have an ally that is held by the enemy and we need all the aid possible. Two, if you are really the pilot of the Desu Tsubomi then you are the first person that it has moved for and as such can't be easily replaced. I personally am dissatisfied with its' choice in pilot.

(Seiren huffs a little still obviously angry at Hana.)

At least you know how to address a superior officer. Now what can you tell me about the attackers?

The ones who captured Eri were robots of some sort. They had some sort of electrical attack that stunned them enough to be captured.

Beyond that, I don't know much else. Sora faced the one who personally broke in.

Hmm. Stunning you say...It sounds like they were aiming to take captives. That means they have other plans for them.

Fine then. I will ask Myoudouin when I see her for information on the enemy she faced. Hopefully she has some information I can use.
