Third Limit - The destined post/COUSTWELL'S FIRST TEST FLIGHT!

[Tohya has managed to convince Katia that he needs to practice with Coustwell. Festenia gets on his nerves and Melua is still in the infirmary and so far as he can tell he needs one of them with him in the cockpit in order to use the machine at all. He WAS flying around and testing things out earlier but now he is standing on the deck of the ship staring at the machine.]

So until I figure out how to reprogram this thing to allow me to do more things with the crystal... I'm limited to shooting glittery crystalline fists and feet, sparkling punches and a giant crystalline face palm.

Who designed this thing?! And why is it purple!

[He will not deign the thought that its pink, it's close enough to purple and it threatens his masculinity enough already.]

((OOC: Feel free to contact him during the test flight or in response to his ranting. He wasn't really doing anything actually combat related, just testing out what the thing can do on a basic level in a situation where he wasn't fighting for his life.))

Not really. It makes small sparkly fists, and I seem to be able to coat its hands and feet in Orgone, I think that's what the energy that is crystallizing is called anyway, in order to make them more powerful. And then there is the giant face palm, the shape of which unfortunately seems to be set. There is a better attack using the shoulder bits, but I haven't tried to use that yet.

Well... You can probably work on that at least... But...

You might have the element of surprise with some strange looking attacks, if they're at least powerful. We might need to find a way to test their strength, rather than just shooting them off wildly...

Well, we can put it against the Photon Mat shield, or, well, this might be childish, but we can build some piles of snow out ahead? King Gainer moves faster than the Exodus, and I've seen them do it before...

It won't, but at least it's accuracy training. There's not really anything around to practice against, as far as strength goes.

Yeah, except other mecha. But that has the problem of breaking other mecha, which I don't think we want to do.

Hey, you're obviously not the enemy or anything, but they sent me out thinking you were. We probably shouldn't cause any more problems than they already started themselves is all I'm saying.

They have a giant ship full of mecha flying about. They need to get used to random mecha flying around doing various things. In any case I wanted to get more practice in anyway. There are a few balancing issues I am trying to work out and my response time could be better.

What do you wanna do? Fighting each other doesn't sound like the best idea. You have a lot more experience than me and I'm not sure either of our units has a safety.

That would be a more useful suggestion. But I would also wonder who you were and what you had done with Gainer.
