[In some part of the Chalice, the smell of some of the best damn coffee you've ever come across has begun to waft into your surroundings. And shortly after smelling it, you might just catch sight of Joshua as well, drifting around with a plastic, tear-shaped cup in hand filled with coffee. And god damn would you just look at the smile on his face.]

Alright... I don't know about any of you, but I'm feeling better than I have in the past few months. Yeah, I know there's plenty of crap going on, but when isn't it?

[And it's at this point he holds out the cup, offering it to you.]

It's my sister's brew; the one thing she can make well. And she makes it really well... though for the life of me I always seem to forget how great it is. Certainly makes every batch taste as good as the first one she ever made though.

I'd finally got around to it after ~~Luger ate the toxins~~ finishing off the rest, but when I started drinking this, I just thought... well, no need to keep it all to myself. Especially since, well I did just say plenty of crap's going on. But that's all the more reason to keep your spirits up!

(The cup in question is specifically designed to let people drink open beverages in zero-g, and yes, it really does exist.)

Who knows? You'd need a lot of time and a lot of resources, if you counted stuff like the colonies at Jupiter in. Plus, there's all of space on top of that.

I'll be content in the idea that I'll likely never see it all. There's always something new around the corner for me. Still, the idea of limitless experiences out there... it's a little intimidating.

Just roll with it. It'll seem less intimidating the more time goes on... though it'll still be a hell of an experience though.

Can't necessarily agree with you on that. I'd rather never have to set foot at home ever again.

Still though, I understand. A lot of people feel safest at home. And provided you have good parents, that usually is the case.

It's the only place I knew for the longest time. And, well, the reason I ended up here... I wish it hadn't happened that way.

Well hopefully when this is all over, Wendell? You can go out and explore the world on your own terms.

Plenty of good places to start. Some of the stuff on the moon might be nice; let you see just how far man's come...

If you worked really hard tracking it down, I'm sure you could find where Neil Armstrong first set foot on the moon too.

The moon seems like a small enough exploring step for me. There's so much on Earth that I haven't seen, either...

Ah, but then you get to the really fun stuff.

Just imagine, you're sitting on the moon, looking at the Earth up there in the sky, and you just point out, and go "I want to explore there".

Sounds impossible.

Besides, you're a skilled archer and you've been improving with a sword as well. And neither of those weapons have fallen out of favor yet, especially not with the arrival of motion capture machines.

I've never really given it much thought outside of practicality. ... You really think I'm improving?

Of course you are.

Even just picking up a sword regularly helps you improve. You get used to its weight distribution and how best to handle it.

And if you know how to handle it, using it in a fight's that much easier.

[Obvious relief washes over his face.]

Thank goodness. From my side it was looking much more of a lost cause. I was getting discouraged, being inept at Sigil's only form of attack.
