1 - A boy in the brig
[The surviving captured Disciple of Baphomet is in the brig and has been since the fight with them a week ago. He seems rather resigned. He eats and sleeps and exercises but doesn't do much else. He hasn't tried to escape, nor has he really complained.]

Is the life of a human more valuable than the lives of other species?

But I'm not talking about reckless destruction of nature here, I'm talking about survival. Most individuals of any species will try to preserve their own life, at least until they can reproduce.
If I had to pick between saving a person and saving an animal, and all personal attachments were being taken out of consideration? I'd save one of my own.
I wouldn't expect any different if an animal had to choose between saving me and one of its own.

I think most people aren't that honest with themselves.

A lot of people probably do feel the same way, they just don't know how to properly express it is all.
What about you? What's your answer to the question?

Were you expecting my answer to be what you got from me?

I'll see what's on your mind some other time then.
