First Orders
[Following her orders Canon had just finished getting her Babylon Model Fafner onto the Chalice along with several crates of replacement parts for it. She seems to be quite angry at herself for being unable to do anything to help protect the base. Currently she was just inspecting the Fafner parts still in her pilot suit which was quite different from a certain other anemic Fafner pilot's suit. Also unlike him her eyes weren't even close to red once she exited her Fafner.
Do you dare approach?]

Ohhh, so now you wanna bring it up on MY ship? There's no federation rules.
And you gotta sleep sometime

I've been given orders to cooperate with you all and lend you my help. If the Captain or anyone of higher rank wants my machine disassembled then go on ahead...until then however if you try to make it so I'm unable to follow my initial orders I won't be held responsible for whatever actions I take.
[She's 'attempting' to not be so hostile.]
Alternatively since you seem to believe that I'll be assimilated soon anyways how about we make a deal. The moment that I turn into crystal you're free to completely scrap this Babylon Model and do whatever you want with the spare parts.
no subject
You realize that... because you're expecting me to take it apart, now I have to... out of principle.
I'm gonna figure out what the fuck makes your shit so special. It's either superior or inferior...
Good luck stopping me.
If you lighten the FUCK up, maybe I'll put it back together perfectly.

Touch it without permission while I'm still around and you'll pay dearly, it doesn't take a lot to stop a idiot.

[[And leveling up his trolling. But... that's not saying he might over-troll and get his ass shot!]]

Even a stubborn person will be able to see what's in front of them. Captain Synapse told me to put our differences aside so I'm going to attempt to prove this to you one last time. Look into my eyes.
[She grabs MarKus' shoulders to get him to look directly at her eyes. Which were a very clear blue.]
I just got out of my Babylon model, if I was under any symptoms of assimilation both of my eyes right now would be completely red. Your comrades fought against me nearly two months ago and I still haven't shown the most basic sign of assimilation even despite fighting against hundreds of Festum within the last two months in this machine.
If you aren't able to get that through your thick head then you really are just an idiot.
[This will be the last time MarKus gets any logic from her.]

My FUCKING determination comes from finding out why yours is different than his. What the hell makes yours so fucking special that he had to pilot one that caused the symptoms when you got one long before him that didn't.
Where's the fucking fairness in that? The NEW model causes problems? That's shit that's supposed to be solved WHEN new ones roll off the line, not adding problems. What makes your Fafner so goddamn special that he as to suffer with a NEW model that kills the pilot?
[[Is she getting that yet? Why doesn't hers assimilate her?]]
no subject
There's nothing special about my Fafner it's a mass produced model...that's why it doesn't cause problems.
You were allies with Tatsumiya Island why didn't you ask them about it. It was Tatsumiya Island that developed the Fafners that apparently assimilated your friend. I don't know why the Nothung Models cause accelerated assimilation but you won't get your answer from disassembling the Babylon model.

It is as if they sacrificed themselves for your sake. How does that make you feel?
[Devon is leaning against one of the crates.]
no subject
Nothing, not anymore.
I shouldn't even exist right now but yet I do. All I care about right now are my orders.
no subject
He'd be disappointed.

[There we go...]
He had redeeming qualities.
no subject
[No arguments here.]
Would you like to make another comment?
no subject
[To think Canon would agree to that point so easily. Even Devon is somewhat surprised now.]
If this is your answer, then you already know what a pathetic individual you are. Anything I say would be meaningless.
[So, she'll turn to leave. To think Ryo sacrificed his life so this kind of people would pilot their cheap mass-produced Fafners...]
no subject
I already told you, I shouldn't exist anymore in the first place.
[Once Devon was gone Canon whispers to herself.]
I just want to disappear...

Looks like we meet again, miss Fafner Pilot. [He seems somewhat amused by her presence, most likely because it serves as a nice distraction to what happened today.]
It's good to know we'll have you in our corner in the battles to come against Gato's ilk. [He visibly frowns when he speaks the name.] I look forward to working with you.

The Curious Detective...
[She realized the irony that she was now working WITH them after just telling him that they could become enemies soon but she wasn't going to mention it.]
I'm only here because of my orders from Captain Synapse. [This was something she was quick to inform him about.]
That's...surprising, your friends seem to think the opposite.

Are you sure you want to say that?

[Christina salutes the younger girl, having gotten used to that idea with the whole, you know, being in the Federation thing.]
If you don't mind me asking...have you run into these people before?
no subject
[Canon returns the salute.]
Yes...I ran into them when I was sent with the Titans expedition to retrieve the iDOL core in Bermuda, I apologize for not informing you about it earlier but my orders were to not tell anyone about unless they needed to know.
The encounter was not friendly.

Well, I feel a lot better having a real combat pilot along. I'm confident in myself and Ensign Uraki as test pilots, but...
no subject
[It was obvious that she felt somewhat guilty for not going out to help them against Gato.]
I'm more used to fighting Festum than other mobile suits anyways.
no subject
no subject
[Looks like she was taking that as a order.]

no subject
...What are you doing here?
no subject
I was given orders to lend my strength to the White Chalice as such I'll be stationed on this ship until new orders are given.
Prostrate yourself before your future lord and master, fool
no subject
I'm not here to make friends.
[She wants to make this very clear.]
I'm here to help you defeat Gato and assist in whatever way I can, that does not mean I will be socializing with you.
no subject
And...I'd rather get along than not...

[She's as scary as Devon...]
