A prison for Shifters

[Surprisingly for very few people actually familiar with Devon, her attitude regarding food rationing and obeying rules in general left her in a holding cell. She'll be there for a while - so if you're concerned about her feeling sad or lonely, by all means come visit!

Extra consideration: Devon's amplifier is gone so no Shifter shanenigans or summoning armor this time. At a first glance, she doesn't look too concerned about this, or pretty much anything at all. Too busy leaning against a wall opposite to the entry door.]

I don't mean to intrude but... I do hope those were your rations... and a few DAYS of your rations from the looks of it.

Actually all of this is stuff I paid for myself from Fairy Park earlier.

The tray just made it easier to carry around. If you don't want to believe me go ahead and take away my rations for the next three days, I don't mind.

What I meant was that I expected you to also try to get out of this punishment as well because you would also see it as stupid and pointless.

Have no misconceptions. This food will not be eaten by me - therefore Ichitaka's actions are not ground for punishment. The food is his and his alone.

[Not visibly surprised by Dan's appearance, Devon addressed him almost immediately.]

I hate to do this to you Ichitaka, but she's lying. She isn't in there because she wants to be, we took her Sophium Crystal away from her. She can't get out of there anymore than you could.

... It's the most important part of my being.

Not because of my own actions. But apparently this ship has a rule that dignity has to be taken away as punishment of breaking even the slightest regulation.

Devon...

You have to be able to at least see it from their point of view. If they took it away you would have just shifted out...or break down the door.

If you were strong enough to rip a door open without an amplifier, would they be justified in cutting your arm off?

The Sophium... is more important than an arm. Or any other part of my body.

Things like that would have to be dealt with on a case by case basis.
