Ninth Resurrection

1.

[Lynn's making her way through the medical tents and whatnot that the Britannian military's set up after the operation.  She's mainly here to pay her respects to Dice... but along the way she's noticing more than a few strange gizmos that doctors and military officials are looking at.]

That freak said it could release the disease anywhere?

It's airborne, dammit... and we've seen what it can do to people!  And we're running out of convenient cures for the damn thing!
At least with ventilators we can keep people from dying without making the disease stronger!

But it's just a stopgap measure.  If they lose power or -hell- some idiot flips the wrong switch they won't even be able to breath.  Either way they'll be casualties
.

[Iron lungs.  They're talking about those archaic things as a way to let people infected by the Izanami Virus continue to go on at least a little while longer.  Reducing people to live in big metal tubes as their bodies waste away...  Without even realizing it Lynn's balling her hands up into fists.]

Typhon... !

2.

[And what's R doing?  Well, REVIVAL's pacing back and forth in the hangar, its body language reeking of frustration-]

This isn't doing enough for me.

[-Before sitting down in frustration.]

I don't know how to unwind from this.  There've been bad times before but...

Losing more of the Dullahans like that...!

[[When is a Gundam no longer a Gundam?

When it's a Christmas Tree!

For a week the Gundam Spiegel has been in the hangar, but today, without warning, it's not a Gundam-sized Christmas tree... mostly red and yellow lights, but, HEY NEO-GERMANY after all!

And the star of the tree? When is a star not a star?

When it's (say it with me now, all together) Schwarz Bruder!

And here he comes leaping down from atop the tree! Carrying a sack of gifts. Is this why we haven't seen him since he mysteriously arrived last week?

[[In light of recent developments, this is clearly the perfect time for one of those training montages.

Granted, Schwarz thinks that something else may come along, drawn to the Getter Dragon and attempt to control it as well. Well, that's a worst-case situation, but, still a situation that needs to be avoided.

As it stands now, he's the only, appropriate, one that could stand up to battle this other monstrosity he's worried about. And that worry, has lead to this dramatic training montage!

(1)
First, Schwarz himself is training his body and speed in the gym, striking into one of the large sandbags a multitude of times, and despite the sounds of impact echoing out the bag doesn't move until...

(2)
And now Schwarz and his Gundam are out about on the decks and tops of the ship, moving in a black and white blur along the perimeter. On occasion, it'll seem like there's more than one Gundam, copies attacking themselves in a mind-blowing display of ninja skill!

Gundam faito (backdate to Monday)

(1)
[[This is Schwarz making his way to his Gundam, not doing anything to be sneaky about it. He'll gladly tell anyone what he's doing if they cut him off, at least until he leaves in the Gundam itself. Proper clearance for departure and all that.]]

(2)
[[If you tune into the right frequency, or, heck, even with Dan's help, some of the monitors not in use start playing a broadcast. It's not the Finals of course, but, something seems to be recording a match between the Gundam Spegiel, and Skull Gundam.

For a while, the match seems... fair. An equal trade of blows until what Skull thinks is the finishing blow turns out to only have hit a cluster of trees. Speigel erupts from underneath the Gundam and lifts it into the air. But rather than dropped, it's thrown higher into the air, and caught in a metal net from Speigel's hands.

With a yank, Skull is pulled back down to the ground, and as it passes along the black Gundam, one of it's forearm blades flips over, making the Skull's head graze over it's blade. Skull crashes to the ground and doesn't get back up as Speigel stands beside it. Schwarz has a few choice words for it but, doesn't act further until he and the Gundam disappear in a cloud of smoke.

Close inspection shows that only the V-fin crest on Skull Gundam's head was removed, and thus, it remains completely active in the Gundam Fight!

[[And here is Schwarz's triumphant return sometime during Monday evening!]]

Robo-confusion

I have to wonder... Who thought that using a sleeping chemical that only works on men is a good idea when you attack White Chalice? Half of the warriors here are female anyway...

Video transmission

There were a few close scrapes, but we made it back. Our benefactors have rerouted a supply ship to meet up with the Chalice in a few hours, so we'll discuss the info we got then. Don't want to say too much over an unsecured channel.

[A few hours later, a resupply ship does indeed meet up with the White Chalice. In addition to all the food and parts that are available for purchase, the ship is also carrying Kincaid and Tobia, who have returned!]

[Forward dated to after the mission.]

Plünderungen und Brandschatzungen zum Spaß

[Be it investigating the wreckage of the Great Wall or looking around what's left of the City, you could spot Luger with a shopping trolley. What was he doing? LOOTING of course! By the international salvage law of GFY (Go F*** yourself) he has taken it upon himself to yank whatever he can get his dirty diseased hands on!]

[Will you berate his behavior? Look through his acquisitions for something interesting? Join him in the looting?]

Dealing with it

1. [A typical case of inadequacy. Since the unfortunate event involving the monster space colony, Laura has been spending her time on the upper levels of the Promenade, looking distraught. Today, she happens to be sharpening one of her many combat knives there too. What's strange is that she actually has a rather deep cut in her finger that she doesn't seem to notice - not a mistake she'd usually make...

Tell her about it/Bother?]

---

2. [Maintenance time for the Schwarzer Regen again. Laura's taken the liberty of grabbing some tools (that happen to be Yuunagi's) to complete the job, because she can't trust the people here with something like this anyways.

It's a matter of national secrecy, of course, not just her personal issues.

The currently unmanned black IS is standing at one corner of the hangar, a thoughtful Laura (still wearing the bunny-ear-shaped headpiece) going over its settings and equipment via a cluster of confusing holoscreens that emerge around her.]

Having two high-powered weapons and a better defense would be convenient, given the enemies that we face...

[A sudden change of thought, and she brings a hand up to her chin.]

...No, that should be reserved for a situation that requires it.

[She's just musing aloud, but feel free to bug her.]

Post-mission concerns...

[Laura's currently on the Chalice's deck, reviewing some information through one of those fancy holoscreens. This is stuff sent to her by the IS Academy after the end of the battle.]

So those IS units were unmanned...

What in the world is going on...?

[She looks into the distance, perplexed. Not quite paying any attention to her surroundings at all. The memory of Schwarz exploding into paper dolls doesn't help her contemplations either, but he's a Gundam Fighter...he should be okay, right? She trusted his ability enough to believe that. Well, Gundam Spiegel was still here, at least...]

Post-Mission ninjutsu

[[After the battle with Kissril, Lily, et al, Gundam Speigel still remains kneeling on the deck of the White Chalice.

Schwarz hasn't been seen since he 'exploded' during the fight.]]

MEANWHILE, back at the Justice League IS Academy...

Long before the mission began...

There's a rather... ominous looking female teacher running martial arts drills with a group of girls in training IS's. Gee... doesn't that mask look familiar?]]
