Well then. The situation intensifies. The short version is that all of Black Lodge and Cthulhu are defeated, but Master Therion is alive and soon, the gate of Yog-Sothoth will open, releasing hundreds of overpowered eldritch abominations on Earth. This could be stopped if we kill Therion, but he happens to be behind the gate himself. We have a few weeks at most.

Shall we give up? Hell no. I've already seen some pretty dire things and didn't give up then. We know almost everything about Master Therion now, and Maxene has some information to share as well. Knowledge is power... And, as a scientist, all my power comes from knowledge! Soon, we should have a plan to stop Therion for good; to break the cycle of his constant rebirth. This is not the end for humanity; it's merely the beginning of another huge challenge ahead of us. But since when does that stop White Chalice?

[Prometheus, who's lounging nearby in a small pool of regeneration-increasing liquid like it was a jacuzzi, raises a sign in response to the speech. It reads: 7/10.]

Is there no way to leave a trail that will lead us back? Or is the door going to be destroyed when Therion dies?

If it didn't there'd be no way of stopping him. Even if you left a trail you'd have no way of finding it. I'm completely serious when I say that our chances of returning are non-existent.

Actually, no. Z's-Wia disappeared from the list before the club was even formed, and Master Therion didn't return to it because it was Black Lodge who killed him. And because, on some subconscious level, we suspected it probably won't stick.

I think only Chtulhu counts. Everything else was just monsters, spawn of god-like creatures at most. But hey, he's a big name.

Demi-gods are a subject for theology too, right? They should totally count!

Though figuring out how to spell "Cthulhu" might be difficult enough on its own.

I don't think theology applies here as much as deep sea biology. Or very inappropriate artwork, perhaps.

In any case, they were too numerous and too weak. We can't count every single minor enemy from Pit's world either, can we? Only the big fishes count.
