Yui was resting after getting patched up after dealing with being tied to a tree with barbed wire and being bled for a nightmarish eldritch apocalypse machine designed to kill everyone except for herself - in addition, that shard with its equally unearthly power had been jammed into her. Mad waited outside the infirmary, but looked more at peace than she ever had before... a sense of knowing her place in the world, of finally reaching her dream of heroism. She didn't need everyone to recognize her and admire her... rather... just the people she cared about.]

Dad.... Gregory... I finally did it... I'm a real hero now...

[She took a deep breath and let out a happy, satisfied sigh as she pondered on the future while lying down in the arboretum.]
