1.*Rock is watching the fortress island from White Chalice's deck/showcasing it to someone. The whole island is a huge tall fortress, with gun emplacement bristling everywhere, and a whole city inside the fortress.*

Ah, Nino Island. How nostalgic! This is the headquarter of the Digger's Guild you know, I took my digger license here! I heard Grandpa Barrell used to live here too! Thank god it's still in one piece.


2.*Rock is prepping the second key for safekeeping. Apparently, it floats inside some sort of protective glass tube now. It stands in the middle a desk full of some papers and pictures of other artifacts, ruins, and different-yet-similar-looking robots. Some other artifacts litters the area around the desk*

Look at how beautiful this artifact is! And look at the styling, the carvings, it's so distinctive. It's obvious that it's part of the same ancient civilization that made these ruins and the reaverbots.

And of course... the legacy of the ancients... the great inheritance. The Motherlode.


3.*Rock is standing with a mop and an apron with a satisfied face.*

Ah, how relaxing. With all the things that happened, we didn't have a lot of time to spend to clean things, right? I hope that helped.

*But what did he clean up? Might it be the whole deck? Might it be your room? Your laboratory? Your mech? Did he ever ask permission for that?"

Of course it does! But it's different because, you know. Space.

Of course it does. There are membership tests for people who want to join, training, orientation and other stuff like that.

Junk Guild exists to take care of all the space junk that is a danger to ships as they fly around, hence the name! But we also handle engineering, fixing things, all kinds of mechanical things.

Digger's guild mostly just deal with the ancient artifact trade. They also sometimes seal ruins that are considered too dangerous. That's why nobody knows about the key from Nino Island's underwater ruins before, it's because the ruins was sealed!

So that's the difference, huh. Well, not many ancient ruins in space, believe it or not. Everything's new up there after all.

The diggers buy and sell a lot of junks too though. Not every ruins are high tech mysterious ruin from a forgotten civilization after all.

Anyway, are everyone in the Junk Guild as heavily armed as you?

It's no big secret if I tell you - nope. We have a few battleships and such but individual Junkers usually have just work-type mobile suits, that's all. Hell, I didn't really have any combat unit before I got my hands on Red Frame, you know.

And I thought I am too well armed. I'm considered heavily armed in the guild, you know? We thought of putting weapons in Flutter, but it kinda feel like putting guns on your car.

Though, nowadays, cars with guns isn't that weird anymore...

It's dangerous times. Can't blame people for arming themselves - even Junkers are renting Raystas for self-defense and such.

I guess so. This is actually the first underwater ruins of this particular civilization that I've ever encountered.
