[There was probably one good thing that allowing Patrick to go in Roux's stead to help deal with that law of physics-breaking machine was seeing how that Delta Gundam worked. And, impressively, it worked wonders. Even more, Patrick brought it back in one piece, so that was a good thing there. Who knew that the Hyaku Shiki's "prototype" would be just as amazing. Though, there was something that bugged her.]

...there's so many people we've face who just want to wipe the planet clean. It's sad to sit here and think that there's so many that don't want to give it a chance or try to fix it up without bringing more pain to others.

Its due to a simple paradox. The people ambitious enough to go for power tend to have selfishness driving them, but those humble enough to wield it sensibly are more likely to not seek such power.

[Amuro sighs, and leans against a wall.]

And then those forced into that position... can do surprisingly well.

Pretty much. Those forced into it don't have the time to mull over or really consider the power - just use it as best they can for what its for. Its how piloting the Gundam felt, at least for a while...

But, good to see there are enough people here with so much power, but they decide to help others with it. Its... why I came back here, I suppose.

Some people stick around for a specific reason. Or have other things to attend to. I... don't. Not without just going to Karaba or the AEUG or... you get the idea.

So why not do it here?
