[It was a statement, not a question, that was muttered in a low tone solely for his own benefit. Tieria Erde forayed onboard the Chalice with only a single intent in mind: assess the situation and take stock of the available resources. The fact that he was simply curious about everything that he had heard about the ship was hidden underneath this goal, not that he would openly admit it. He kept his distance for the moment, staying along the edges while he analyzed everything. His opinions would be kept quiet. For now.

There's a lurker who is intent on lurking, though he is quite noticeable. Don't mind him-- his tolerance for being 'social' has its limits.]

I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, especially not after so long of not doing so, though I am curious about the sudden change of heart.

I meant Celestial Being in general, but fair enough, I suppose.

[ It went beyond orders for him, as well; it was a bit more personal. Zeon was going down an all-too-familiar path, albeit for slightly different reasons. He didn't want to see Zeon return to the Zabi family's policies, which was why he felt Mineva, despite being of the Zabi family herself, was a chance for a fresh start, if he could just give her the childhood he and Haman never had.

And she was more likely to receive it here than on Axis. ]

[A nod. There was always more information, but it wasn't his place to divulge unless the circumstances required it. Celestial Being's mission was the same as always: to end war. However, he was coming to accept that there was more to existing than just the mission.

He still had a lot to learn.]

I just you understand what is likely to happen once Axis arrives in the Earth Sphere. We swore we'd free the Colonists from the grip of the Titans, even if that means war.

I told you what mine is. I swore an oath to protect Mineva Zabi, and by extension, Haman Karn.

[ Even if, not too long ago, Char tried to leave Axis. Haman was heading down a path he couldn't follow. Until, of course, reality ensued... ]

Which would involve keeping them out of the fighting or, ideally, preventing it entirely.

Haman isn't helpless. It'd be impossible to keep her out of it. She's one of the best pilots Zeon has, perhaps even better than myself.
