Not dead yet!

[Graham is completely unconscious, at this point he is currently recuperating . But visitors are welcome by his bedside]

[By some miracle Graham is awake! This fact is quite surprising considering the injuries he sustained (even the medic said "any normal man would have been dead or at least seriously injured to the point of permanent damage, is this guy made of steel or what?") he is sitting up in bed reading a novel while Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon plays softly in the background. But I bet he would love some visitors!]

For now, just trolling.
Re: (2)
"yeah...I, seem to have overdone it a bit."
[he looks slightly upset]
"With enemies like those I wonder what it means to be an ace, is it defeating enemies or is it protecting those around you..."
Re: (2)
"Technically the definition still applies, it's your number of kills, but, among us, it does have the added meaning of success and protecting others. But you're no good to anyone if your machine can't hold up to that level of protection."
So he takes a seat by the bed. "Which brings me to my visit."
Re: (2)
"Why would a Gundam pilot be so interested in my flag?
I'm guessing this isn't just a well wishing visit, very well, go on."
Re: (2)
He looks plenty damn serious here. "So you either need to raise the quality of your skills, or the quality of your machine. There is a machine in the hangar, a red one. It needs a little work, and a Solar Furnace, but it is a Gundam. It's currently lacking a pilot."
You do the math, Graham.

Thought you were going to get yourself killed out there. Are you okay?
Re: 2
"No need to worry about me Sora, I'm just fi-"
[Another fit hits him and he composes himself]
"I thought I was too, the only thing that has ever come close to that, that, thing... was the Gundam thrones."
no subject
Gundam Thrones? I know of the Gundams Celestial Being uses that run on pixie dust, and the more standard Gundams like Kamille flies... Thrones, though, I'm not sure I've heard of.
no subject
[Graham realizes he doesn't know so much about the thrones himself]
"Well to be honest I didn't learn much about them until recently but even then there is still much about them that's unknown. All i know is that they were fake Gundam pilots who used imitation GN drives and posing as allies of celestial being. And that's about all I know"
[He still looks frustrated]
"I hate to get involved with stuff that frankly, isn't my business but, you and Hana, you could have gotten killed yourself. Why did you let yourselves get caught up in a fight like that? You guys seem like really good friends."
no subject
[At the discussion on the Thrones, she sighs.] Fake GN drives... well, that doesn't sound good. Guess we'd better be on the lookout.
[And she frowns at talk of her and Hana's spat.] We got into a fight because we didn't want each other to get hurt. I meant what I said to her - I'm not going to let her get hurt. Not again. That's why I fight: to keep my important people safe.

Re: 2
"There's a bit of a back-story to this tune and me, You see I had been injured, much like this and was truly miserable. A very good female friend of mine came to visit, she brought me this CD and we spent some time just talking and listening to it... The music was so wonderful I forgot my pain... And to this day if I'm ever in pain or upset I listen to this."
[He looks strangely at Raynor]
"You tried to save me, thank you."
no subject
That must be a nice memory. Any idea where that friend is now?
no subject
"Sometimes all we have is our duty whether it be a soldiers or a knights... it is our ability to carry it out that defines us."
[He looks deep in thought]
"She disappeared. I still think about her, more than I used to these days, with so may new things happening. I keep thinking maybe I will run into her someday, and then I wonder if she still remembers me..."

Better get a bigger gun
Adette couldn't help but come. Pretty blonde men where her weakness it seemed, and she poked her head in as he read.
"Mmm I like your taste there blondie. Care for some uninvited company?"
Re: Better get a bigger gun
"Sure, uninvited company is the best kind. You... like music?"

Adette came in, with a smirk, and a toss of her long hair over her shoulder.
"Ever since I left Siberia I feel like I just can't get enough of it. There is so much out there I never knew about. Gotta make up for lost time, ya know." She pulled up and chair, turning the back of it towards him, and sat side saddle on it, and crossed her ankles.
"I'm Adette, have we met before? "
no subject
"That's quite distance to travel from, I guess they must not have much music there. You know what they say about experiencing new things, no time like the present.
[He sits up]
"No, I don't think I've had the pleasure. Graham Aker." [You are being offered a hand.]
no subject
" Graham." Inwardly she laughed a little bit, who names their child after a cracker? Apparently Gainer's parents weren't the only ones with a sense of humor.
" It's good to meet you. You took a hell of a beating out there, but you look alright now. You must have some seriously devil's luck." She took his hand, manicured fingers wrapping softly around his hand. What was the look in her eyes?

Re: 2
"They say that not even a divine wind can extinguish the fire of a true ace. That or maybe I'm just tougher than I look. I like to think its the latter one!"
[He leans back and stretches his arms behind his head book still in hand.]
"Well, I've been better but then again I've been worse too. Injury and Certain doom are part of the job description.
Thanks. If you had butter fingers there wouldn't have been enough of me left to scrape off the Gigafloat with a spatula. I owe you my life, and I never forget my debts."
Re: 2
If I screwed up it'd be a blemish on my reputation as a mercenary so don't worry about it.
And from what I've heard, you did a real number on one of those Inspectors.
Re: 2
[He looks like he's pondering something deeply]
"Yeah I suppose I did do a number on it. I've never fought anything like that before, it just... refused to die. And it was incredibly skilled. But I took it down, I suppose that's something."
Re: 2
We barely managed to fight off 4 of them, imagine an army of those machines.
