[Wherever you are, you've just watched a hardlight hologram fairy race by carrying a massive pile of mistletoe being chased by a redhead. It's obvious what the situation was - trying to hang up mistletoe being stopped by someone not wanting to see a repeat of last year's smooch assault on said redhead.]

You know how dangerous mistletoe is?

It's not dangerous!

When it comes to love lives, it is-desu! One wrong spot and Eri and Sora might try to kill someone because of you!

CHYPrE, get back here now! It won't happen!

[Care to stop the two in their troubles?]

[Truth be told, CHYPrE is at least partially right; the thought sets off something deep inside Sora as she's passing by, and she can feel a rising desire to hurt that's very foreign to her. Then the moment passes, and she clamps down on that feeling hard, schooling her face into a smile.]

Aww, that takes all the fun out of it, CHYPrE. Come on, let her hang them. Besides, what's to say I don't catch her under the stuff? And it makes for great shenanigans with everyone else. [She raises her right hand.] I promise, I won't murder anyone over this, if you'll let her put them up.

[For her part, thankfully, Hana has absolutely no idea that sort of feeling resides inside of Sora, though hearing her causes her to stop and smile at her partner.

You sure...?

...you can trust her, CHYPrE. You know that!

Oh... okay.

[Sora grins in response.] Hey, the holidays are a great excuse for everything to descend into madness for a little while. And honestly, we could use a break from all the seriousness, I think. Just keep her from trying to actually hang any in our room. Otherwise we'd never leave.

[Hana can't help but chuckle there.]

Oh, don't worry, I wouldn't pull that off. Eri would have too much fun if that happened! But, you're right, we do need some sort of break from all of the seriousness...

[And as she says that, CHYPrE's able to get a good one over Hana, hovering over the girl with the mistletoe hanging overhead.]

Don't I know it. That girl is about as subtle as a sledgehammer when she wants something... someone.

[The girl casts her glance aside.] Yeah... it's just been non-stop. Again. That vacation is sounding better and better with every passing day... [Her glance makes it up to CHYPrE, and her expression shifts into a smirk.] Oh, you are devious.

[Hana can't help but tilt her head slightly seeing Sora's smirk.]

...Sora? Is something the matter?

Ah, you just have someone looking out for your best interests. Or at least, my best interests that happen to involve you. [She points up at something directly above Hana, before stepping in close. Quite close, with a wider smirk to match.]

Huh? [And Hana looks up, seeing CHYPrE grinning at her with the mistletoe hanging over her.] Oh...

[And when she sees how close Sora is, her cheeks really flare up.]

[Well, Hana's formally had warning. That's enough, right? She can't stop her own face from lighting up, but she leans in and kisses Hana full on the lips, right in the middle of the hallway.

Some small part of her mind registers that she forgot how good this felt. The rest of it is occupied.]

[And, despite the warning and everything, it still takes Hana off-guard. However, she's quick to return the affection, reveling in how wonderful it felt.]

...you two are so cute-desu!

[Sora is sufficiently distracted by the girl in front of her that it's several seconds before the comment even processes, during which time she doesn't let up on Hana. But after a bit, she pulls back, breathless and with a radiant grin.]

Y'know, CHYPrE, I think that's the nicest thing I've heard all week. True, too. [She wraps one arm around Hana, for once at peace with herself.]

Mmm... [And Hana leans into Sora, enjoying the moment herself.] I guess it's good to have something go right for a change, huh?

You don't know the half of it. This is refreshing. Just us. Nothing in the way.
