[ Almost one week after the shooting, Char's lung is fully re-inflated. While he's still unable to walk and has begun basic physical therapy - mostly leg stretches to prevent atrophy - he is finally able to get out of bed and be wheeled around in a wheelchair, is able to eat on his own, and can talk. He still talks very quietly, and has a mobile oxygen tank with a tube leading underneath his nostrils to help with his breathing, and is still hooked up to an IV with pain medicine, but he's no longer on a large dose of morphine. Most of his surgery is done, as well. He is expected to make a full recovery.

You might be able to catch Char being wheeled to the mess hall. He's eating soft foods, but at least he's out of bed. ]
