(no subject)

[[After having the Technica dredged up from rubble and forced into the ship, the pilot finally gets some "me" time to take in everything.  He's actually pretty twitchy... adrenaline and excitement running through him.  Firstly, he just wrecked shop out there, up until that fuckin smaller lizard caused some power outage in his machine.

Eventually, he gets the hatch opened and steps out, still uniformed.  This isn't your ordinary Kamen Rider, boy!]]

[[After finding a chance to change, and time for a food, some kid is off and scampering about on the Technica that just got hauled in.  He's just there, acting like he's been around the whole time.  And what's MOOOORE, is that from there, he starts getting around and climbing over some of the other machines.  No, he didn't ask, he's just there, on them, inspecting, reading paperwork available on them.  It's pretty harmless, but he's CLIMBING on your machine!]]

Well... At least it's not as baffled as other reactions I've seen...

Um... Mine is a standard model manufactured by Supermarine. I don't know how to modify Strike Units. I'm afraid I could do something to it that makes it stop working.

I... It will, mister.

[Sad that only people from her unit are used to it...]

Shirley knows much more about machinery than I do. She is the fastest of the Witches aboard the White Chalice. She always looks for ways to make her machine faster.

I don't have much uses for modifying my unit, though, but if it was possible, I would like more stability to make my shots more accurate.

[The patting makes her whimper a little. It's not a witch hazing, but Britannian manners include personal space.]

I'd be grateful for that, but please be careful with it, mister. Sometimes getting parts for the Strike Units is troublesome.

I am Sergeant Lynette Bishop, of the 501st Joint Fighter Wing.

Of... Of course, MarKus. Just please speak it over with the Major Sakamoto, if she is okay with it. She is my superior officer.

Um... We're young, but it's normal because we use magic for combat, and since only young witches can wield magic, we're given the rank of Sergeants upon joining the Strike Witches.

The Major Sakamoto can seem scary sometimes, but she is really nice when you get to know her!

And... aicraftman, actually. Then goes Leading and Senior Aircraftmen, Junior Technician, Corporal, and then Sergeant. There are actually a lot of ranks for all kinds of branches, and all kinds of nations. Sometimes they're hard to remember.

It's alright, it's alright, Mr. MarKus. To be honest with you, I never really learned about ranks until I spent a longer time with the Witches.

The Major asks for discipline, but even she can be lax. Just... Um... be good with her.

[Really. She cannot prepare her for the Major Sakamoto.]
