Re-Befriendings: A long month

[Today, the Chalice would be greeted by a familiar sight. One young brunette, in her regular clothes, conjuring a small pink sphere of energy on the ship's deck.

The sphere fades after a while, and she lets out a sigh of relief.]

Looks like everything's fine now. That's good.

Yes. Welcome back, my master.

Mmh. Thank you, Raising Heart.

[About four weeks had passed since Nanoha left the Chalice, and a lot had happened to her in that time too. While continuing her studies at home, she took part in a special training programme organized by the TSAB - something like a Top Gun training school for young mages. Not only did this improve her battle abilities, but her knowledge of magic as a whole.

Unfortunately, that didn't help her feel any less uneasy upon her return. Coming back a second time while knowing that the Chalice had fought continuously to save people everywhere was pretty difficult. She's taking her time to get acclimated to things again, though.]

...No matter what happens, I promise - I'll keep giving it my all.

[But for now, she's due for a break! So she's standing where she is with a juice can in hand and just enjoying the view. Bother?]

[Of course, Nanoha's pretty stunned when she spots one of the former Adventus generals around, especially since she's met both of them at some point...

No, she still doesn't know what happened to you and how you made it, but she's actually glad that you're not gone for good.]

[She lets out a small sigh before she continues.]

Mmn. Aliens of some sort. They took everyone by surprise. If it wasn't for those two Adventus generals returning to save us, I think we may not of been here today...

Ah! I heard something about an Adventus general from Setsuna-san too, but I haven't seen any of them around.

And... I guess we don't know enough about these new aliens yet...

They're here... and I don't think you can miss them. [Hana chuckles a bit.]

No, we don't know much about them, but Dr. Zoldark's already trying to gather people to face them down. Apparently, they attacked other groups and countries. I haven't heard anything from Fairy Park, so I'm assuming they got away.

[More unavoidable fights...not something Nanoha is looking forward to, though she's ready for it nonetheless.

She knows her family is fine for now too, but that might not be the case if more attacks happen...]

That means it's even more important that we pull through. No...we have to, so that no one else gets hurt.

Mmm. Right! Like it or not, we're probably the only things out there standing between those things.

Well, not JUST you and me, everyone... y-you know what I mean.

But, we need to make sure we don't get lost in that mindset. It won't do anyone good if we get hurt being that driven...
