Re-Befriendings: A long month

[Today, the Chalice would be greeted by a familiar sight. One young brunette, in her regular clothes, conjuring a small pink sphere of energy on the ship's deck.

The sphere fades after a while, and she lets out a sigh of relief.]

Looks like everything's fine now. That's good.

Yes. Welcome back, my master.

Mmh. Thank you, Raising Heart.

[About four weeks had passed since Nanoha left the Chalice, and a lot had happened to her in that time too. While continuing her studies at home, she took part in a special training programme organized by the TSAB - something like a Top Gun training school for young mages. Not only did this improve her battle abilities, but her knowledge of magic as a whole.

Unfortunately, that didn't help her feel any less uneasy upon her return. Coming back a second time while knowing that the Chalice had fought continuously to save people everywhere was pretty difficult. She's taking her time to get acclimated to things again, though.]

...No matter what happens, I promise - I'll keep giving it my all.

[But for now, she's due for a break! So she's standing where she is with a juice can in hand and just enjoying the view. Bother?]

-Eeehh?! You're...!

[Of course, Nanoha's pretty stunned when she spots one of the former Adventus generals around, especially since she's met both of them at some point...

No, she still doesn't know what happened to you and how you made it, but she's actually glad that you're not gone for good.]

[She frowns a bit as she remembers what happened after that. Although, like the nod, Zatonichi wouldn't be able to see her expression...]

That big finale didn't go over like I planned it. But... the end result was still the same. Here I am.

Mmh...I can't say I liked what happened at that time, but I'm sort of glad it ended up this way.

[On that note, Hilde's presence does intimidate Nanoha to some extent - almost the same kind of air she felt around people like Samus and Signum. And the last time Nanoha saw RGNK, he was in the company of a tall man...maybe she'd see him around too.

But for now...]

There has been some trouble with the recent advent of new Alien Invaders. Lockon and I have been somewhat guarded of late because of it and the fact that the pseudo-solar furnace use mobile suits haven't been sighted recently.

I believe Luger Amwulf has started drawing pictures of the females on the ship, should it interest you. [Setsuna no, why?]

Yup, it couldn't have gone any better!

[And she pauses as she remembers the details.]

Well...the training the TSAB gave me was still pretty difficult - I kept getting beaten in every mock battle with the instructor. But it taught me a lot.

Yeah. The truth is, I was a little nervous coming back after so long. Many things can happen here in a month...

I'm sorry...when that person blew up your machine, all of us were convinced you were gone...and...Ichitaka-san was really sad too.

Now that I think about it, people who use barriers are really hard to beat...so maybe I should've known all along.

Pretty well, actually. I've pretty much got how Devices work down, and I'm working on incorporating S2U and a training device into the Zweilicht...it should turn out just as well as any other device once I'm done.
