After a while, look who's back! Bernie is in the hanger; he stood rigidly in front of a Zaku II Kai, and once in a while he would give out a salute.

"MS-06FZ Zaku! Thank you for everything. Thank you for your service. Maybe we'll work together again one day. From here on out, Bernie Wiseman is..."

His eyebrows raised, and he itched his head.

"What's the word? 'Graduating'?"

"Sorry, I did not mean to intrude, It's just I know that feeling."
[She Smiled warmly]
"You two took on the world. Won a few, lost a few. Probably can still count the dings in the panels."

Bernie smiled -- but his was wry.

"Well, I can't say that we won a lot. I'm lucky to be alive. Considering what the Chalice fights, I thought I'd be mince-meat by now."

"Well, considering I'm surprised I survived my current stay on the ship. Between aliens, monsters, and automated armies, I guess I'm now were you were."
[She looks at the Zaku]
"Except I don't use mechs. So that's new to you guys."

"Nope, And when I started I didn't even use something from this century."
[She laughed]
"I'm an aircraft pilot, If you can believe that. Some people didn't."

"Oh! Quite risky." Bernie was surprised; apparently so much that he didn't check on his tact and rushed his words.

"No matter what, any machine should be helpful as a weapon right?"

[Looks back at Bernie]
"That is what makes the bonds between man and machine so close. And that is why it is hard to say good bye to something that pulled you, me, or anyone out of the fire so many times."
[She offers a hand]
"Where are my manners, I'm Mobius one, Ace of fighter Aces. The last one if outside the haze is to be believed."

Isn't a Wyvern a fictional plane? Looks pretty darn good!

Bernie takes the shake, "Bernard Wiseman. But everybody calls me 'Bernie' Miss Ace. I am from Zeon."

"I tested the old stealth nighthawks, and they just were not worth the invisibility."

"Like in performance? Speed? Power?"

"Going by the mech's capabilities, I think it 'feels' well. But the main gun is a bit strange."

[She sighed, she was not good with intangible concepts like 'feeling'. Numbers are more her forte.]
"Well as long as you remember where you came from, where your going will seem easy."

"It's a Zeon unit, so maybe I'll adapt to it quickly. It's unlike no other...I think."

Zeon actually sounds enthusiastic, or certain, about going along with this.
