[ It's been about four days since Char was placed into a medically-induced coma after suddenly suffering a psychotic break and went into shock shortly after. He was taken off of the heavy sedatives that morning, and has spent the last few hours vomitting repeatedly, hallucinating, and mumbling something about a 'ghost.' As the drugs began wearing off, Char was deemed medically stable enough to start seeing visitors, hoping it would help his brain 'defrag' itself naturally.
What caused his brain to snap was four things in rapid-succession; first, feeling all of that death at once caused by the nuking of the Titans fleet. Second, after that, Char was repeatedly visited by a certain dark-skinned ghost that other Newtypes might have been able to sense, but only catch fleeting glimpses of near Char's room. These effects were compounded by the side-effects of the pain medication he was on for the broken ribs and migraine headaches caused by the aforementioned. The final straw was the psychic explosion. Char fainted and had a seizure, and had to be sedated.
When people go to visit him, he looks like absolute shit. He's lost most of the color in his skin, he looks like he's lost 15 pounds, and his eyes are glassy and bloodshot. But at least he's coherent enough to talk.
He really needs some company after all that. ]

Bernie was at the sick bay in no-time. He froze in shock; he wasn't able to speak, and could only pant from his running.

[ Not even being formal. He's sitting up, at least, though he's got an IV tube stuck in his arm, due to him being somewhat dehydrated from the vomiting. Nothing serious, though. ]
I know... I'm a mess right now.

How much do you know about the Battle of Solomon? During the One Year War, I mean.
*taps her temple* Memory, give me 0079

Shortly after the Battle, Kycilia deployed our latest weapon to field test it directly on the Federation. It was codenamed "Tricorn Hat," and is now known as the Elmeth. It was the first mobile weapon to ever use a psycommu system, or bits.

Its pilot was... very important to me. She was an extremely powerful Newtype, and she could have gone on to become the most powerful Newtype. You might have heard of her; they called her the "Ghost of Solomon" because she was able to destroy more than half of the Federation fleet at Solomon without anyone even knowing she was there.
Oh...Lalah.
"What does this have to do with you ending up like this?"

"There is no way, Commander."

Sir Char...
[Alessandra walks into the room, minding herself for a change. She seems to be hiding something behind her.]

[ Char attempts a smile. ]
What have you got there?

[Although saying 'had the cake made for you' would be more truthful here.]
Might you be in condition to eat it?

[ Char smiled. ]
I can certainly try.

[Alessandra presents the, admittedly pretty small, cake. It looks like a red dome, except for a single jelly orb on a side.]

[ He laughs, albeit weakly, while trying to sit up. ]

Which one in particular is still to be agreed upon.
no subject
Well... which do you think it is?

[Unfortunately, Alessandra is not good with technical names of mobile suits...]
Zack? Zako? The title in question eludes me... Zechs? Am I any close?

"You should see yourself right now. It's quite a site."

Char tries to laugh, but it kind of hurts. That seizure really didn't help his broken ribs, even if they're healing now at least.
"It's good to see you, Kamille."

Kamille zoned out a bit as he spoke, his eyes growing distant. "We have two more PreDesus onboard, both of whom are professionals like Kurokawa is. One of them seems to be something of a living legend, kinda like you... Unfortunately, she's in the infirmary due to a lot of things compounding on each other... also kinda like you, really." A bad joke on Kamille's part, but it doesn't deter him.
"We were finally able to resupply at the Seattle Colony. I hear some interesting things happened on Julia's end of the visit, but I had been busy doing things with-SORA!" Kamille jumps a bit as he catches himself. He wasn't going to out what he did with Haman, like hell! "SORA! In the kitchen! Nasty things! POTPOURRI won't let me hear the end of it- Moving right along!" Power through, Kamille, POWER THROUGH WITH ALL OF YOUR WORTH!
"We're actually back on Earth, as it happens," Kamille told Char with none of the panic that held his voice moments before. "... Something strange happened during our first sortie back. MarKus's parents were outed as Percolati, but they gave MarKus the key to unleashing the full power of the Technica." Are your thoughts turning to the recently deceased Blex, Char? They should. "My question is, why would they turn on their fellow Percolati? And... Was it the same case with Blex?"
no subject
Char shrugged. "Zeon has low tolerance for Percolati as well, just as any other nation. Maybe they were hoping for a divide and conquer strategy, and saw the Titans as a threat big enough to try it."
