[Despite the whole clusterfuck of a week ending, Eri was ready to go as she was running diagnostics on her machines, Noir and Erika. She was tapping on two simultaneous laptops at the moment and was scrolling through the levels when she frowned.]

COFFRET, MIPPLE, what's wrong with the Synch levels recently? They're really low.

[The two mascots set to work and soon, Eri found that they were not synching up between pilots. Frowning, she booted up her records and started to work.

Okay I'm holding a mandatory meeting for all desu pilots. Visitors welcome. Come meet us in the hangar, I've set up some space for us.

[It was here Eri was dressed in a track suit.] Glad everyone can make it. It seems pilot sympathy is pretty low lately, so I'm going to take it upon myself to perform one of the most obvious routines possible. Gentlemen and ladies, we're about to get some dance lessons.

[Turning on a music player, she set it up as she bounced on her toes.] This dance routine is a standard one, made during my sisters time. Follow along as best as you can, watch, and then we'll restart the music.

Here we go.

Did everyone get that? Good. Square off into teams of four and we'll go through the moves again.

[Dancing? Hana hadn't really done any of that stuff since she left Fairy Park! Boy, was she going to feel silly getting left behind. Then again, it would probably put behind her a lot of the stuff that happened.

The fact that she was still here, even after seeing Eri's back, though, does speak volumes.]

It's okay, I wanted to have one-on-one dance lessons but since our ranks swelled, we really need to get this worked out soon.

Lets take this from the top, okay? [And she turns on the music again.]

(Seiren comes in looking a little annoyed. She was in the middle of research when Eri called them all.)

What do you want Kurumu?

I just noticed something: our synch ratios are way down. I was doing maintenance on all four when I noticed it. We're in danger of dropping below the usual threshold of 72%. I think we're due for dance lessons.

After all, Miyu would probably get on our butts for slacking on it.

(Seiren's eyes narrow slightly.)

I see. Why do you think that the synch ratios have dropped this low Kurumu?

Sure, not a problem! The thing is to have fun when you're giving it a try. Do you need to see the steps again?

[Dance lessons, eh? Here's Sora all the same.] We're practicing together, then? I can work with that...

[Despite herself, she can feel she's getting into the music when Eri plays it the first time.] Okay, I think I've got it. I see why this is a team exercise, that routine would need everyone in sync to work.

That's right. Have you done this before with Miyu? She's our dance trainer for the performances at Fairy Park. Tall, pink hair...?

I think so. That feels so far away now... I know it's only been a few weeks, but things have been rough from the word go here. [Right, left, right, right... Either Sora learns fast or she's remembering this quite quickly.]

Uh, umm, I don't know... Last time I danced and lost concentration, I almost broke a table...!

...Huh. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but this is a surprise. Even the iDol pilots don't make their dancing part of their pilot training.

Yeah, Desu pilots are pretty unique in that regard. We work as a team for the most part, and we need to be aware of everyone's motions at any given time.

And that carries over into piloting? I'd have thought being in your machines would make everything feel quite different.

Maybe I should talk the Major into incorporating this into the 501st's training. ...Though considering my coordination, it might be even rougher for me than what we do now.

Solo yes. With other people, you have to make sure to keep your movements synchronized with theirs. The routine is designed for four at a time.

That shouldn't be a problem, if the other people know the routine well and just keep in rhythm it should still be just as easy.

[Laura's in the hangar today, but of course, not to join in on the ongoing dance lessons. She's got some borrowed tools in hand, and is focused on finishing some tune-ups for the Regen before the next battle against Adventus takes place.

Whatever these people had in mind, it was clear that she didn't want to be a part of it. But she's still free to be bothered as usual.]

[While supervising the dancing, Eri looked over and waved at her.] Hey! Not joining in on the fun?

[She doesn't so much as glance at the Desu pilot while she resumes her work. At least the music doesn't seem to be bothering her.]

Does it look like would I want to?

[And in the meantime, the Regen's bunny-ear-like attachment on her head lets out light buzzing noises as it processes information.]
