Route A: Jeremy Gatsby

1) [Oh hey.  It's that historian made of ham, making his way through the cells.  And holy cow does he look cross!]

RGNK!  There are things I regret we must discuss; regarding certain actions you have taken!

[Admittedly any of you could probably get his attention if you really wanted to.]

2) [It's that time again!  The time when an Adventus general gets you alone in a room and starts asking you questions and-]

I figured, considering your current predicament, it would be fair to show you this.

[The lights in the room dim, and a slide projector moves down from the ceiling to begin playing on one of the walls.  Jeremy lets the speech play its whole way through before finally ending it.]

So then, I must ask how do you feel about all of that?  Admittedly I have my own concerns about this declaration by the Red Comet and Zeon itself, both objective and subjective, but that may not be the case for you!  After all, a month stands between us and battle with the forces of Axis Zeon, and as a historian I know more than most just how much can be done in the span of a thirty days.

[The tiny robot gives him a peace sign, then knocks on whatever chair he's sitting on to get attention and pretends to draw something in the air with an invisible pencil. He stares at Jeremy as if requesting something.]

[Thankfully a historian always has writing materials on hand, and he tosses Prometheus a pencil to write with.]

If you have need of paper, please gesture so and I shall get it to you!

An inability to speak should not deprive you of communicating!

[Prometheus takes a while with the paper. He creates a battle between two groups of crudely-drawn mobile suits, with all the stray shots hitting the Taj Mahal, Eiffel Tower and several other big national monuments (just where does this take place anyway?). One of the suits has a >BD face.]

[At that, Jeremy can only sigh in defeat.]

And I joined Adventus to use its resources to see all of this does not happen, in fact!

[Prometheus draws two more robots right next to each other - one of them is waving a white flag and the other one is waving goodbye to several ant-like people. He writes ADVENTUS in a near-unreadable font and draws an arrow that leads from the text to the two robots.

After that he crosses out all the fighting mobile suits, and adds glow lines to the monuments to show how shiny and untouched they are. He looks up at Jeremy, his green eyes glinting for a moment.]

[Jeremy's... kinda understanding what he's drawing, but the historian just shakes his head and sighs.]

Alas, I'm not in any position to see you leave. And without the Hyperion present here, I lack the means to protect you should I do that.

I suppose you could consider that the safeguard put into place by Lans and Yolanda, to make sure my unique disposition doesn't sabotage them.

[The robot shakes his head and then sits down deep in thought, like an antique stone statue.]
