3x4 → Requisition Request

[ Char had spent the last week or so combing over the specs of his completed MSN-02 Perfect Zeon Char Custom, and had finally come up with a way to possibly upgrade the Zeong to allow for the use of melee weapons without compromising its own firepower. Due to the fact that the Zeong has megaparticle guns in each of its fingers, a traditional beam saber would not be practical. Char had examined the schematics, and after some preliminary experiments using virtual reality and mathematical equations, Char had reached a solution.

At first, Char had thought of wrist-mounted beam sabers, but one mistake, and the beam saber would damage the fingers. Char then thought about removing the middle fingers of both hands, and replacing them with beam sabers; however, this would sacrifice firepower. Char then, however, had another idea: Placing the beam sabers in the palms of the Zeong.

Having a retractable beam saber in the center of the palm, while possible sacrificing mobility of the funnel functionality of the detachable hands, would allow for very unique possibilities while fighting in close quarters, thanks to the finger guns.

The sabers would be apart of the hand, but would pop out of the palms when in use, and retract when not in use. While not as maneuverable thanks to the physics of the wrists, they would serve their purpose. Char was hoping the Captain would grant his requisition form.

Having filled out the paperwork, Char left the hanger. Others may be able to catch up to him in the hallways, though he clearly has something important to deliver. ]

[ Char did his best to appear formal as he finally entered the bridge. Thankfully, it was unlocked, and while he was fully aware of the 'do not disturb' policy, the fact that the ship wasn't really doing anything of importance at the moment gave him reason to believe he was safe for now.

However, Char did stand in the doorway to the bridge, and cleared his throat to announce his presence. He wasn't going to enter until the captain gave him clearance to do so. ]

[Captain Weston was mid swing when Char cleared his throat and the distraction caused the ball to go wild!]

Who DARES disturb this perfection of my swing!

[ Char swallowed a lump in his throat after it was clear that he had interrupted the man's precious golf swing. The ball ricocheted off the wall, and into Char's waiting hand, his Newtype senses detecting the ball was going to hit him. Char casually entered the bridge, Char held out the ball to the captain. ]

I did, but I was actually hoping to see the entire swing. I was hoping to learn from the master, after all, if I was ever going to challenge you.

[ A quick lie, but one that he was sure the captain would buy. ]

[ Char bent down, and placed the ball back on the tee for the captain. He then took a few steps back. ]

I've heard rumors that you can get a hole-in-one with your eyes closed. It was something I had to see to believe.

Don't beleive everything you hear. That would be foolish. I wouldn't want to damage any of these delicate instruments. Nor would I want to damage any of the ship's interface systems.

Of course not. They look expensive. [ A fine use of the subsidies the White Chalice receives, certainly. Char mentally facepalmed.

He then looked down at the clipboard in his other hand. ]

I'd like to thank you for the gift the White Chalice gave me with the new Zeong, but there is something I would like to make a special request for. Would you mind looking over this requisition form when you're finished with your game?

I'm sorry, but golf clubs are hard to come by and I would not want my rival to have anything but the very best! But I will endeavor to remember your request when I next see an exquisite set.

Of course not. I could never beat you at your own game with a sub-par golf club.

[ Char would need a drink after this. But the Captain was the Captain, even if by any reasonable military standard, he wasn't fit for duty. ]
