[Today is Valentine's day, and its craze seems to have hit the Chalice in full - all around the ship people seem focused on being with their loved ones, or drowning the sorrow of not having them in various ways.

Samus, however, doesn't really seem to have so much as noticed the occasion - or if she has, she certainly seems to think it has absolutely nothing to do with her. She's in the gym, training as she does every now and then, doing some little exercises to keep limber and balanced. Nothing to really break a sweat, more of a rythmic, harmonious routine to center her body in the same way she centers her mind... though it has to be said that Samus's "little exercises" seem to imply a lot of things an Olympic gymnast would be hard pressed to do by making a serious effort, and many things no normal human could do at all. But she exudes a downright contagious vibe of perfect peace and equilibrium as she goes through the motions.

She did not particularly intend to meet anyone, but those who want to escape the festivities a bit might well find the bounty hunter there, and want to enjoy the calm in the air as a respite from the atmosphere in the rest of the ship!]

I actually did go through the trouble. It isn't much, I just though, "Hey, yanno, some people are gonna feel like crap today", and I wasn't going to be much help rubbing it in.

Well, I don't entirely get this day, but one of the customs seems to be giving chocolate to friends and acquitances!

[Not being one known for being an eloquent romantic, it's no surprise that the newcomer Domon's down in the gym as well. His workout's a blend between periods of meditation and then extremely active beating of bags and running through kata.]

[Once Samus finishes her acrobatics, she lands on top of a plinth, and looks at Domon's beating of the poor suffering sandbags. This woman is obviously a fighter as well, and she seems interested in watching his style for a bit]

[And with one final blow, Domon snaps the bag back completely... right before the chain holding it snaps and sends it falling to the ground! It's only then though that he notices someone's watching him, and he turns to find it was the blonde amazon from before.]
