Counting Up The Cards 1, 2, 3

[Tsukasa was in one of the practice rooms that had been converted from storage. He was certain not many came along this way, and quickly he strapped on his Buckle and removed several cards, taking stock of them.]

Blast, Slash, Invisible, Illusion and Final. Still far too few for any real battles. Henshin!

KAMENRIDE: DECADE!

[Dusting his hands, he held up one of the grayed out cards and opened his buckle.] Henshin.

KAMENRIDE: FAIZ

[The activating sound of the card abruptly terminated as Tsukasa grimaced under his helmet.] Let's try that again. Henshin!

KAMENRIDE: W!

[Still nothing.]

KAMENRIDE: KABUTO! ATTACKRIDE: CLOCK UP!

[Letting out a seething growl as nothing happened, Tsukasa leaned against the wall in frustration.]

No closer to the Riders... and I'm stuck with all but the basics. [And he tossed the cards to the side negligently, fanning out in a pattern of nine Rider cards to skid towards the door as he slumped to a sitting position.]

Ah. Well that says something about your style then. [Pulls his belt apart and picks up a card.] If this was working, I could change form. As it stands, I only have a few abilities available to me.



[Tsukasa vanished for a bit, and then reappeared, still sitting but at a different wall.]

[Devon doesn't look disoriented by Tsukasa's invisibility. Her gaze immediately follows him as he re-appears.]

Your abilities seem technical in nature. The cards do not function because they are broken...
Or perhaps the fault lies with the user.

That's the going plan. If I can find them, I can probably unlock them. That one turns me into Hibiki.

Yo. [waves and glances at Agito.] Like them? They're called Kamen Ride cards.

Heh. That's a rather interesting design... Kamen Ride cards eh?

[He tosses Agito back to Tsukasa]

[He looks genuinely intrigued. It's like he's never seen a Kamen Rider before.]

There's a seal on most of my cards. Without encountering a Rider, they'll remain sealed as such. [holds up the Blast card which is clearly active while the 555 card is grayed out and sealed.]

Beats me. I've asked Dan to keep an active scan of anything but so far, nothing. Could be that we're just going through wilderness though.

Yeah. Back in the world I came from, there were many Riders. These are I suppose remnants of the previous ones.

[Tsukasa shook his head.] That I don't know. I... lost my memory, of everything before a certain date. That was the day I received my DecaDriver, and was sent to this world.
